Dear players!

Uthgard is now twenty-one days away from officially relaunching! As the timer continues to countdown we continue to dedicate as much time as we can over the festive period introducing as many fixes and changes as possible for your playing experience. As the relaunch edges closer for us all please take note of our 'Getting Started' guide on the homepage particularly for any of you who may be new to Uthgard. We suggest you get your machines ready as there may be a large amount of people leaving it until the last minute. Please follow the guide and also some of the FAQ's which may answer any issues you are experiencing, should any of these issues persist please contact a member of staff and we will do our best to help you.

In last weeks news we asked you for assistance in some item linking, specifically translating item names to help us further with correct salvage values! We were very surprised to see how quick the community was in offering their help but also just how quickly and efficiently this was done, in just five short days we were able to correctly translate and link over 600 items which now have their correct salvage values! We would like to extend our thanks to those players who took the time to assist us with this. Thank you!

Some of you may have noticed that maps were once again been reintroduced into our world, albeit for a brief amount of time! Unfortunately our changes to the map caused some unexpected zoning issues that resulted in game crashes. We apologise for the inconvenience and will fix this as soon as our developer assigned to maps becomes available!

We are happy to say that our implementation of the classic epic quests are nearly complete and players will be able to experience every epic line upon relaunch. This has taken many hours of research and more for the implementation of these quests and we will be excited to see many of you enjoying the epic quests, obtaining some of the useful items and of course the fashionable armour pieces!

We will continue to work during the Christmas break, our work with dragons is still not quite complete and we will get back to the community soon regarding further tests. These news posts will continue to be released once the server is live and beyond, on the week leading up the relaunch there will be some more activity regarding news posts to inform players as much as possible in preparation for the 6th.

It is possible that you think about reimplement capial porters to porter keep until si capitals are not implemented?

I think its a minimal temporary custom change with zero gameplay imbalance and extremely helpful for everyone on that server

Im ok with every 1.65 change but this one is really annoying and just temporary.

Maybe as small gift ;)

guess we are intended to travel to SI without a porter. i will live with that decision.
