Uthgard

Get your fur coats on over your armor and head over to X-Mas land between December 24th(18:00) - 26th(23:59) (GMT+1)! The snowball fight is back!

You will need the Uthgard Christmas zone to participate if you do not already have it installed. This mod will ask to automatically install if you have DAOC Portal 2.8 beginning after the 23/12/2012 reboot. If you do not have DAOC Portal 2.8, please launch DAOC Portal as administrator (Right click, Run as administrator) then choose 'Help, Check for Updates'.

Summary of event:

You may enter X-Mas land by visiting Santa located in Mag Mell, Cotswold, or Mularn.
You may leave X-Mas land by typing /returnhome.
Once in X-Mas land, any other player (including your own realm mates!) can harm you with snowballs.
Snowballs are hidden throughout the zone. Explore!
Visit warming campfires to regenerate health.
Uthalis is awarded on kills.
Points are added for kills. Points are subtracted for deaths.
Every player for themselves - you can hit your realm mates and they can hit you!

First place gets the Grand Prize and gets to choose from a collection of extremely valuable rewards, while second and third place also get to choose one present from Santa's (very special) bag. The remaining top 7 players on the top score list will get Uthalis.

flaw about this snowball war is that there will always be ally and its going to be a multiple teams versus 1, making it unfair and defeating the Free For All play. what about a zerg event or something of similar to Aerus City event for PvE?

Yes. All abilities (including realm abilities and tireless) are disabled and all HP is equal when within the zone so no class or level has an advantage.
