Also is there a "todo" list you could share with players
This way people could get involved, doing researchs on topics they are familiar with

I m glad to hear Pendragon works again, i had to abort all tests because of that stupid change.

Are kill tasks - where you turn in mob drops to a npc for xp - going to be a part of the SI launch or was that after thee target patch? Found a rather large list of kill task mobs and most of them are in SI zones.

The kill task item quests are independent of SI. I know there are a lot of them available in SI, and it is a desired feature. When it comes (before or after) is up in the air as other things have priority.

for damage calculation/coding. you will want to do it with a maxed out toon so that its as accurate as possible....

trying to parse slash dmg against golestand with a lvl 1 with no gear will NOT be accurate... that said the opposite side of the spectrum (maxed toon) will render the most accurate calculations.


so yes, do it on free server. for SI mapping

There are still some quests to be logged and misc mob abilities to discover (hunting mobs). In addition we need to finish TG/Sidi/Galladoria raids.

Good to hear that this is still going - but for the sake of keeping this server going, I hope that RvR-related fixes are being prioritized.

Honestly if you just get the raids finished and the mobs in place to lvl up to 50, most won't care a lot about a few missing quests... Those are something that can always be added later on.

if you place the big stones in first, it is easier to to fit all the pebbles and sand after.... good philosophy to follow.

if the staff did that, ppl would stop helping on SI, as they would see "oh, it's already there"...though many would appreciate having SI a little unfinished but at least HAVE it, i prefer blue's philosophy "do it once, but do it right"...if not atleast 90% of SI are finished he shouldn't release it ;)

The problem with Blues' philosophy is that it tends to mean 'nothing gets done' because they get stuck on details, apparently, and lose sight of the bigger picture. If you insist on doing it by the book, you need to create the right conditions for it first, and that means data data data and people that can do the coding. And Uthgard is missing both. So why not just acknowledge that and think about development road maps and fixes that are feasable with the resources the staff has left? And coming back to SI, that really shouldn't be very far up the list of priorities, it's not like Uthgard is lacking in PvE.
