I guess DF is still ok for seals, and worm. Also I wonder if we will have Lilith the demon queen boss?

Winter is coming but Uthgard isn't. See you in the summer for the next news!

Players can greatly contribute to a server if you let them.

Uthgard, still the best server. Thanks, Devs.

Remember, u should really focus on having a stable launch and no regular crashes like Genesis had, that really killed much of the population imo.

Kick ass devs, thanks for the continued hard work. We've waited 2 years, we can wait... or until Camelot Unchained comes out.

Thank you for working hard on our favorite game and server! I used to come here every day, but not so frequent over the past 10 months. I'm glad I checked in to see this. I have been wondering since the revamp started if the staff might consider a specific style change that always seemed to be flawed since the very start of Daoc. The Duel Wield line for infiltrators. Some of the styles cannot be implemented due to the class not being able to parry. This flaw was rectified later on to make them evade styles for those that evade, and parry styles for those who parry. I understand your going for 1.65, I just thought this might be a valid argument under the circumstances. If nothing more than to at least discuss it amongst yourselves. Thanks for hearing it either way.

From a grab bag on 9-20-2002:
Q: I am a tank who trained up in piercing styles. Some piercing styles require evade as an opener, which I do not have as a pure tank. Is this an error?

A: No, it's not. We've gone through and cleaned out the errors in the style lines, so any of the remaining "opening move" style listings are intentional. The piercing lines are rogue oriented. Basically, if yourre a pure tank you need to decide if you want the versatility of having several weapon skills (very useful given the resists we put in a few weeks back) or the concentrated "oomph" of focusing on a more traditional warrior's weapon.

Being able to use a large weapon, then switch to a bleeder style, etc, sounds a little overpowered. I know it's confusing to have styles you can't use show up on your list mingles with things you CAN use, and it is a known issue.

Of course they did eventually change a lot of these. The reflection style change in Duel Wield came in 2007, 4 years after 1.65. Maybe the changes between 1.65 and 1.91 in the game made more sense for that style to change as well. Sort of irrelevant because as an infiltrator you should spec 50 Thrust because Dragonfang is so good.

Do you also want the 1.69 stun nerf of dragonfang? Because Infiltrators are not supposed to have a 9s stun ;)

It's all about the package. Staff decision was that 1.65 is the "sweet spot" for overall "packages".
