I would love to see Uthgard open again but what i'm sure is : the staff is not pro at all. Not a single news for explain the current situation.

a) the staff's Patch 1.68 campaign of changes
b) Anti Tajendi campaign
c) Genesis release

Why are people getting excited?

This is a server that didn't have necros FFS

Exactly! We would rather have a game than waiting 2 -3 years for some upgrades to come out.

you people need to realize that the staff doesn't give a ****** about the "playerbase". they don't post news, not even a christmas / new year's message. there's a very generalizing "we're still working on it blablabla" post every 4 months and that's it. you need to realize that this server is never going to be online again. I don't know how often one needs to say it, but isn't it obvious?

Why do you fail to see that these gms don't get anything done they promise? Have you forgotten that they have promised old realm abilities FOUR years ago? And they are still not implemented and never been? How can you be so blind and not see what's really going on here. They are probably really working on the server but don't really care, they do some work here, some work there but it's not going to go anywhere because they are slow and because they talk a lot but don't walk the walk. It's always been like this with uthgard.

I remember speaking to one of the devs on IRC when the server went down a year ago and they said it's going to be back within 3-4 months. Well, that's that.

3 words: not. going. to. happen. okay, that's 4. but i guess you know what i'm sayin..

There's a little flaw in your train of thought there. Let me explain this:

If the staff wanted to leave it be and let Uthgard die, why would they still be paying for the servers? Why are they still active on the forums (yeah, I know, you don't see much of that, but take it from me...)? One of the major factors in dragging down the mood is the constant whining about the staff and the future of the server.

Patience is a virtue, people.

I think you're all whiny little ****** and need to just stop visiting the forums.....if they're not going to bring the server back up sometime...why would they leave the forums active?
