OOOOoooooooooooh. I just found this server, because I have the feeling I will get bored in Guild Wars 2 again.
Yesterday I told ancient stories about a great mmo I played as I was younger. A game with the best combat system I ever met. "Slow" and solid, where every class counted, every skill had its right to exist , where you didn't rush through in 5 minutes to get lvl 80 and then kept grinding senseless, countless currencies for nonesense loot.
And today? I found this website. My eyes got shiny and the momories I told about yesterday came back even more clearly. Memories before TOA and NF, as the game was at its best. But wait...Server down? Omg! Wipe? Ouch! I'm so sorry for you guys. But then...hey...this is the chance! For me, haha! (And hopefully for others too. ) A chance to start this great game as it startet in 2002. Where all of us where new and friendships were destroyed forever at the lvl 1 to lvl 5 mob spots as there were to few of them for the rush of new players. =D

I am soooooo bored about all those superfast, shiny, ingameshop, fastlevelingup, minimap, questgoalmarker, soloplayable, fasttraveling-by-teleporting, mapinstanced mmos you can't imagine.
And exactly these facts bring me to the conclusion, that:
OMG THIS NEW START WILL BE SO FREAKY AWESOME WOOOT!

Sorry, I just had to say these few words. I really, really hope this server will start up again and bringt the good old feeling of a game back which no other game every brought to me. We will see ingame. Hopfully. Midgard forever! You boons!

finally, some great news ! once the next phase of the testing will begin I will make sure to inform some friends with whom I used to play on Merlin such a long time ago about the Uthgard rebirth ... alot of people have respect for your work and are waiting for the release and I know for sure the playerbase will raise quickly once you get everything worked out ! ignore the trolls and flamers and keep up the good work !

Will the "dont add" policy in public chats be enforced again?
On the other server a few people are allowed to shi.t talk everyone including how they are supposed to play ruining the fun for a lot of players.
I hope you stick to your previous policy, that made the server much better imo.

but public chat rage added way more fun for the adders
