Well but nothing change with a wipe when the timesink is still the same crap. And more players come back with si old ras barrels, hastener and bp merchant. Wipe or not. With these changes player come back |

Ofc  when staff worked with and not against the community maybe. But we dont need to discuss that because everyone know that will never happen |

Full wipe or only Tajendi/overpowered items/money/rr wipe, who cares.
Staff will make what ever they want to do, it's their server - not ours. I'm relative new to Uthgard, startet here december 2012 but from the begining i had the old good DAoC feeling like when i stopped playing in 2003 on Stonehenge. Uthgard was a good customized Server with some issues that should be solved (like some droprates, we killed in mid the Wretches of Winter so many times without getting a damn drop, i can't count it) but when they started to go strictly for 1.69 it began to die, in my eyes. Give back the NF BGs to the players who only can play for some hours in the week after work for relaxing and fun and they are happy. Never had so much fun in rvr as in the BGs. Give back some of the customized stuff some GMs/Admins did, things that made life some easier ( like faster serenity regeneration) Someone wrote Albs/Hibbs won't zerg. Never seen so fast risings zergs as Albs did sometimes in Thidranki. You wiped a grp 2-3 times, they logged or came instantly back with 2-3 grps, was much fun. xD I think one big factor beside balancing and SI will be very critically: Time. It will depend very much on the time how long it will take to restart, if players come back to Uthgard or stay away. 2 weeks, more, some months? The longer the restart takes more ppl who now already playing on Origins or retired/gave up will stay away. Cause they will have build up Guilds, Chars, money, crafters. And a poll won't really help much, cause the majority of the casual players are not registered in the forum and if they are they don't really look often in here. But a wipe and the things you mentioned are not mututally exclusive. Why not do both to achieve the best experience for players who start at revamp? |

With only rr reset items and money maybe. With full wipe not |

the "selfish elitist high rr player" is just a construct taken by most ppl on this server to explain why they dont do rvr most of these high rr's are actually ppl with a nice behaviour who respect you and your playstyle as soon as they see that you respect their playstyle i think a full wipe is good for this server because all the ppl crying about the old settled ppl with trillions of plats the legendary uber items and perma god mode will stop at least with this argument ... well they find other arguments and the situation that they get steamrolled by anyone having more time/invest more will occur pretty fast (actually this will happen as soon as the first ppl reach 50 because it was never the RR wich made some guilds better than other most ppl just dont see or dont want to see that) the only way to avoid that the normal guy with maybe 6-10h online time per week will not get easyly frustrated in rvr rly rly fast is by implementing mechanics wich help to keep the rvr intressting even for these ppl and these mechanics have to be invented and implemented before the server comes back and i think the idea some ppl here have with implementing a perma thid with instant action and xp/rp off will be some kind of overkill because if everyone can simply go to thid and never having to leave it will directly lead to have EVERYONE playing in thid even these "selfish elitist high rr player" and what happens when a set grp roams there ... well everyone can think of it |

Why give veteran players a headstart over new players in the first place? What signal would that send to new players? "Hey, you're welcome to try, but you won't be able to get anywhere near the veterans EVER because they got an arbitrary bonus and you don't". Seriously then you can just leave uthgard in it's current state ... including player numbers. |

I'm just annoyed what they did here at the end....I was gonna keep playing then they opened the gates for all 3 sides to come and kill all the under lvl 50's. Great way to say good bye!

Why should new player leave origins where it is more easier with no timesink as here? We will see what happen. The primetime for americans is good there 500 in the morning. And Uthgard? 150? So i think its only a choice for european. and ofc when i start new i dont play here becuase its easier on origins and i have no fun to spend that time again here. But elder scrolls inc soon CU nxt year so i play fifa online for the moment. And ofc more time to sleep  |
