I remember reading that the buff sheare would be removed. I also remember that the target patch was placed at 1.69 (1.65 at the reopening of the server until you get to 1.69). Patch which takes place the implementation of the buff sheare http://camelotherald.wikia.com/wiki/Pat ... rsion_1.69
Can we have some info about it?

target i thought was 1.65 with some later features (like battlegroups which are a 1.68 or something feature)

buff shears wont be in uth 2.0 from my understanding.

Plausible interpretation considering that from 1.66 to 1.69 are patches of ToA and many things will not serve. Anyway at the end the buff shear enriched the gameplay of the base healer classes, sometimes boring, without altering any balance... A great shame if it will actually be removed!

I'd like to have confirmation of this and a motivation from a GM

im pretty sure, much people from the past, wont come back so easily. The reason is live-daoc. I hated it so much in the past, thats why i stopped to play there 2009. But Uthgard didnt release, so i give it a shot and played live. Its sooooo great with the new face behind daoc ( broadsword ). Its so much fun, cause they do constantly features and improvements for daoc.

This is one of the reasons, i dont care anymore if uthgard launches or not. I LOVED Uthgard, but this is a bad step the uthgard-team did. I hope you get your playerbase you wish blue/Nayru! You guys deserve it for your hard work.

Also your considerations are good and acceptable. I'm sure when the staff will reopen the server, in any case, they have done a great job!

They also said that it would have been probably a 2-3 month downtime for relaunch.. it's been already 6 or so... :D

They could even change mind on the aimed patch, trust me!
There was a time when Uthgard 1.0 existed and maaaany toons and arrpees arose... but now:

Interesting times ahead, someone once said.

Maybe I'll invest all the time again, getting all crafters to LGM ... doing some RVR, annoy the hell out of the french people, ignore any requests by any stealth classes ... enjoy the slow pace of gameplay ... will be nice for night shifts.

If they get it done I will be playing no matter how many people are there with me and honestly those people that continue to complain... well I wouldn't care if you played or not.

omg i realy start to hate ppl who answer this way ... its like the core of fanboyism
there should be a time where you actualy start to think about actions and reactions like having a constant flow of informations about the update progress = ppl keep being interested/ having 2 updates in 9 months = the forum gets more quiet every month
but hey keep telling ppl like me who actually worry about this downfall to fck off because thats the best way to handle a problem ... and btw the extreme of this would be a server with 1-20 ppl activly playing on a server like uthgard ... grtz to no raids no rvr but some solo pve the core of daoc
and dont come with this "they dont owe you something" ... this whole "fck the com" policy let us into the none existent "uth2"

Lemme write an update for them: refactored another 1000 lines of code since last update (or smth like that) nothing real reportworthy besides that.

Sounds boring? Thats why they dont write :P

Nah hyshash, people like you just like to ****** and complain. I am worried about the server but that is my problem. I am not going to be an idiot like you and post about how "waaaaa there isn't an update waaaaaa where is the update." Take your little ****** attitude and go elsewhere, I don't want your stupidity to ruin the chance that the server will come back.

well actually even this kind of info would be better than nothing in months ... even a monthly update with "well we did something about this and that but are stuck in the middle of the code" is better then nothing

@kildich yeah i see you dont want anyone on "your" server... or in your words shut the ****** up i dont care what you think
i actually dont even know why im reacting to your post lol

kildich is gonna earn himself the spot for the most actively hunted player in uthgard, even above Baman.
