After having played Genesis for at least a month, I like the server.... low pop but active people... Sadly it may not matter as I go LD about 4-5 times daily sometimes at really bad times. Curious if anyone else on these forums has tried Genesis and what there experience with stability has been. Sounds like at one point there were a lot of people on Genesis and I wonder if people going LD all the time had anything to do with the drop in pop. They have on their own forums information about people going LD but have no solution for it.
Anyways just wanted to say hi and to say keep hope alive for Uthgard because even though I like Genesis, Uthgard was far superior.

Dwindling population, heavily biased towards mid, patches are like 'fix 1 thing, ruin 3 others', elitist community, dwindling population (oh I already said that).
I think genesis' devs are really trying to improve their server, but everything implemented is like trial and error, and the low population is heavily frustrating. You know a server is in bad shape when more people are joining the nice female french gm's trivia quiz than participating in rvr.

Ran a trace which for some reason the forum says is to much to post but it looks fine until I get to just before the server. Also they have been saying that some people in North America have problems and its on their end. Don't have any issues with any other online games either. Eve works great and so does the free WoW server that if I am in a sick mood I play on.
I would love to see the old models/graphics like Infinitum posted. I agree the old mag mell/cotswald/mularn village layouts will be incredibly nice to see again. Of course the devs must do what they feel is best. I can wait extra time for classic visual tweaks though

I hear you, but at this point Genesis the best free shard available with the most pop. If I want to play DAoC I either have to go back to live (no happening) or play on Genesis.

I like this Kildich much more than 3+ months ago. Very calm and reasonable. Maybe those meds and/or counseling is working now?
Regardless, much more civil and I feel that for the small # of us who still check these forums we appreciate not hearing you scream (metaphorically ofc) on the forums "GTFOOHYA" every time someone raised any criticism of the progress of Uth or the GM's. Keep up the good work, Kildich...you might just find some friends here even after gaining the reputation of the most repugnant forum troll (stolen from either Aust or Relevian) in 2014/15. =)
I think its just that even the diehards are entering a stage of not caring anymore to be honest. At this point even grab bags seem not nececary anymore as long as they are not containing any etas/beta dates. At least im over the details. Sure skin x or zone y ot pathing z is nice to hear about but its more of an academical intrest like quantum theroy is to me. Im not using it but its still nice to know about it
