So a couple of things.
1. People keep posting the same ****** over and over. I would say those people are starved for attention, are just losers or both. 2. No news is good news. Those of you that have been playing on this server for years know that the devs DO NOT communicate well, you either except that and be patient or move on and stop pestering them. 3. This is a FREE server, you are not required to play on it, you are not required to post on the forums and honestly if anyone should be banned it should be the people that won't shut up about how long the reboot is taking, or constantly telling them to bring up the server. YOUR NOT PAYING THEM, THEY OWE YOU NOTHING. 4. 90% of the people that post on these forums must be like 10 years old the way they think they are owed something. So I highly doubt you were around when Darkage was first released like I was, I bought the game when it came out and even upgraded my computer to play it. I know what it is like to watch EA take over and screw the game up like they do every game they get involved with. I too am looking forward to unchained but I still wait patiently for Uthgard to return. |

If no one was posting, joking around or asking questions wouldn't you be worried that the community is dead, Kildich? This is not your own personal board, you can't control people. All you are doing is making people dislike you. Stop being that guy.

It surely is not my own personal board, however people aren't just asking questions and joking. They are asking the same questing OVER and OVER again, everyday multiple times like they think it will help anything. The Devs know we want the server back we have made that abundantly clear and unless people think the Devs are A-holes that will just stop the project without telling people then the only reason to keep posting asking when the server is coming back is to be annoying. Yes people don't like me here, but I submit the people that don't like me here are selfish children that think if they annoy the Devs and others long enough that something will happen. Sorry it doesn't work that way and if you think I care what a bunch of selfish children think your mistaken. I want the server back as much as everyone else, I have no MMO's that I play right now because I am saving all my MMO energy for Darkage when Uthgard comes back. It is hard for me to have patience myself but asking over and over and complaining over and over will accomplish nothing except maybe to ****** the Devs off to the point where they do give up the project. There are plenty of people that post about random things, and to joke around like you said and I have no problem with that but a good majority of the posts are people asking when the server will come back, tell them to bring up the server now like they own the Devs or are paying them. I find it terribly arrogant that people think they have that right. So I have the right to retaliate for what I consider annoying, arrogant, selfish behavior. I am sorry if you are offended by that, but as long as people keep asking about ETA's and the like I will keep posting. Sadly I thought taking myself off the boards and not post would help the situation. It has not, the complainers are still complaining. |

They would have done so ages ago. To handle the rabble that inhabit these boards, you need to be very thick skinned, or illiterate. You obviously were not around during "barrelgate". |

I was not, and while I appreciate what your saying there is no way to know how much the devs will tolerate. Plus I just wonder if people are reading what they write, I personally would cringe to read what I wrote if I was such a whinny person. I actually wonder if the devs read the forums much after all its filled with crap.... you guys trying to get the server up or at least get a response maybe shooting yourselves in the feet and they are probably tuning you out or maybe they are saying "we will wait until they stop ****** and then we will tell them something" ever think of that? Anyways I appreciate responses like yours Sekunda, it is polite and respectful and so I will try to be polite and respectful as well at least to you and others who are polite and respectful. I cannot say the same for those that are not. |

when the time comes and ppl stop asking for a release date and news ... thats the day you can start complaining kildich
because thats the day the devs actually lost everyone about this server and noone cares anymore if its up or not ... have fun playing solo in a mmo dragon will be hard as hell i like it way more when ppl ask the same question about a dead server (and atm it is dead since we cant see any progress) over and over then having to look at a dead forum because if you cant see any new posts anymore you just stop looking and so will everyone so to cater to the universal uthgard slang stfu kildich no1 cares about you you dont get early access by makeing your way up the devs ass |
