It seems the rent for my cottage is now 500% of what it used to be... no notice for a change in rent.. what's up? :)

Just wanted to point that out too.
The rent is now live-like (even when housing went live there) with the 20 Gold for the small house.

Here it was 2g, raised to 4g and now 20 Gold after the last change.

Might also be the same for the Lvl 2-4 Houses, so all should check their lockbox.
(noticed after i got a mail for my house on Mid, had 24g left, which was enough for 6 weeks before and now only the running week plus one more)

SO TO ALL : Pay your rent NOW

There wont be enough money in the lockbox for more then 1-3 weeks.

would be nice to see any info (forum, changelog, maybe email) about the change (from 4 gold to 20 gold)... how did the rents change for the other buildungs?

or it's just a bug after restart?

what i dislike on the new change is : if you are on holiday or in hospital.. and pay rent enough before .. you will come home and dont have your house anymore, because 16 g for 4 weeks is not even enough for ONE rent from the new ..

i like the change to 20g for sure - livelike, and so ppl will maybe not have 10 cottages instead of one bigger house, but the DIRECT change from yesterday to today WITHOUT any info is really not ok.

last time you did such a change, you even fill up all lockboxes for 2 weeks or so.. why this time not? To make ppl more frustrated?

i cant understand this, really..

edit: A note on Facebook would be amazing too.. for what do you have this side? Only for "likes"?

keep in mind, that players love their digital ownership.
those achievements bind players to a game.
if they loose it, they may quit the game go for something else.

raising the rent for level-1 to x5 without lead time and without any announcement
will lead again to a lot of house terminations.

obviously staff is feeling server the server is overpopulated and trying out new way
to get rid off players.

Really.... Nowhere we could read something about the price change.
Though I was fine (same for many I guess) andlog to see guildhouse + 2 guildies houses gone.

What now? Just wait ages to buy the land back (if nobody take it before) and pay again the deed+consignement+bind+.....

Changes are ok, any change as long as you staff members think it's a good thing for Uth, but get us prepared, please.

Changelog 16/1/2011

- Change: Changed house rents to 20g, 40g, 80g and 200g per week

Seems as though there was a bug that has been miscalculating rent for level 1 no one reported for all this time. This was fixed (as a side effect of the changes). The max in lockbox on level 1 should now be increased as well to 160g so you can place 8 weeks in the lockbox as stated.

European date format. dd-mm-yyyy

I'll see what we can do in staff for all who may have lost a house due to the bugfix. It was not our intention to change the rates and I can see how this potentially lost some houses with out a notice to people

All housing rent for all level 1 houses has been set to MAXIMUM, even if you weren't paid for 8 weeks. This will ensure that (as of 3 hours ago) all level 1 house owners are paid for 8 weeks.

I've identified the houses that have been repossessed as a result of this change we are working on plan for reimbursement.
