You must exchange it. If you no longer have the OTD, no exchange is possible. If you find a OTD should be tradable but is not, please post it in the bugged items thread.

As we stated: Tajendi items will not be exchanged. Also, players should be aware that all exchanges will be final and there will be no 'undo'. Both the Dura'ek cloak and Ancient stag femur have fewer charges.

Thank you for the responses GMs and moderators. :)

But, this is still a great injustice to the players of this server who cannot have their akars barrier charge upgraded. They are now being disenfranchised at not fault of their own, and have paid more for an item that has held a higher value than Body Neck since the introduction of Tajendi.

Some players will realize what is being done today. Some players will realize they are being slapped in the face due to the politics of Classic VS. Custom.

Not really. The difference is arnooagi, necklace of the body USED to be 75 s/c, then got dropped down to 57. Akars was always 57. So there is plenty of players like me, who had necklace of the bodys nerfed down to 57 from the original 75. Besides, why don't you wave your credit-card and buy some more plats.

The staffs goal is to eventually fade out tajendi items. How is anyones guess, considering items only get 100% and not 125-130% as on live, if you think about decay.

How about offering the option to trade an Akar's for a Necklace of the Body with red str/con buff?
You get ride of the high util taj item, while the person trading gets a red str/con buff.
Now it is entierly up to the person how much he values the red str/con buff.
Do he really want to trade in his high util bracer for only the charge or not.
You give them the option, so they can't really complain anymore.

Discussed before we announced - Tajendi items are not and will not be included.

Well...as one of those with Akars I am somewhat dissappointed...but still I am happy for reintroducing life like charges and for those who get their Necklace upgraded...thats the right thing to do and fair : THX staff for this wise dicission.

Tajendi as such, should prolly be deleted soon, even before introduction of SI...this way that pity story will finally end

I don't see why it needs to be removed. There are countless hours invested in the creation of Tajendi and, if you don't like it, don't go! I personally enjoy a bit of story-driven PvE in contrast to the never-ending grind.

Agree.
This is one of the goods things of this shard, and at least unique.

well...thats no the point...its also not my intention to spay hate over tajendi ^^

Fact is : tajendi is custom and therefore conflicts with server goals...thats why there wont be a "buff" for tajendi str/con charge...thats why they slowly want to drive players away from it...so they better end it quick.

my opinion

Tajendi items were created a bit over the top and devalued other, classic items. This change allows them to devalue their custom loot tables of Tajendi, the items are not utterly useless but will become less desirable. If the zone were completely removed, we will end up in the same situation as other items that can no longer be easily obtained and few players will profit greatly (Legendary Weapons).

Besides, what Fortysevon stated about Tajendi sums up my, and I'm sure many others, thoughts on this work of art.

You can still compete without Tajendi.

Thank you GM's!! I think this is a great move. As far as the Tajendi thing goes, I feel this is a great way to put that stuff in line. Now Tajendi offers very good template items that can be farmed during low population hours with a group of 6-8 people, but its no longer the best stuff in the game. So IF the GM's decide to not remove Tajendi it will not be seen as such a game changing zone with game changing drops.

@ Arnooagi- I get it man, I have an akars on my hunter and have been going out of my way to see if I could find a body necklace so I can get the high end S/C and it sucks that I put so much time and money into getting an Akars and now I dont have the high end s/c. However, this is a great change. No if, and's, or but's about it. Akars is still a VERY good drop. Not only does it have GREAT utility but it still has the 2nd best s/c charge in the game. I'm in the exact same boat as you and I have to think this is a good change. Does it suck for some? Sure it does, but EVERY change is going to hurt sombody and will never please the entire player base. Overall I give this change a 99 out of 100.

True.. Some people spent months on that item, including it in the template. Now i have to decide:
Remake the whole tp and trade my body neck for the gem (int??? Are you serious????)
Keep my nerfed one and passover

You really want to destroy the server?!?!?
