has there been any answer on how buff charges will be implemented yet? Strict 1.65 (without SI items) or something custom like legion again?

A question regarding the server hardware and stability:

Compared to the Uth 1.0 server, did the hardware improve for uth 2.0?
Do you expect a higher stability and a higher player cap than uth 1.0 had?

Uthgard nutzt: 8xCore, 16GB RAM.

Uthgard uses: 8xCore, 16GB RAM. Enough far from completely.

It almost always depends on the code and the network. We had been here with worse hardware good performance. That what you get as a server today is almost luxurious compared to some years ago.

Hi there !
how will we have to proceed regarding the DAoC client ? Will there be a need for a special version Uthgard will provide on its website, or will we need a standard one (where to find the right one by the way) ?
thanks,
-> waiting is only a matter of time

Hi Uth49

All details will be revealed once the countdown reaches zero. My suggestion would be to have a DAOC client pre-installed on your machine. You can download DAOC online.

Yes. Download the official client from the official DAoC website. Further instructions will be given once the beta countdown reaches 0 :)

Was an email required? I don't even remember it's been SO long since I made my account(s).

Maybe you can send out an reminder-mail to all those mails you have stored in the database when Beta starts. =)

Any Genesis Admins, GM's or Game Helpers work on Uthgard too? For example coding stuff or something like that?
Uthgard 1.0: Cermit 6L5 Ranger
Uthgard 2.0: Kenni 4Lx Infiltrator
Genesis: Quambo 11L4 Nightshade
