Is there a liberal method to detect "RADAR" ? I remember occasionally experiencing it on Uthgard 1.0 - and CONSTANTLY during the little I played on Genesis.

The only issue with this is that people can use voice chat. One of the things I liked the most about Ultima Online was that the chat there was better for roleplaying and you could talk to your enemies.

Cant remember if this has been asked, but...

Will there be SI portals in cotswold, mag mell and (forgot which mid city it was put it, mularn?)

Or will they be at the original places, avalon marsh, near connla and.. was it nalliten? :D

I played Siege Perilous for years and then started day one on Andred in daoc the pvp server. I did just fine.

Most of my time on Siege was in the guild PAG, or Perilous Adventurers Guild. I also played Angel Island free UO shard.

All my experience was based on pvp type servers with no real safe places and player run economies and guilds who were roleplayers like the shadowclan orcs or the undead or what not. Angel Island was run by Adam Ant and we had imanewbie actually in the guild PAG at one point.

I ran an infamous pk on angel island, although I would not say I was good at it people sure knew who I was.

In UO guilds would claim dungeons and you would have to pay taxes or die if you went there. Relvinian was the name of one of my pks who was GM of the guild Twisted Path that would kill anyone that went to the Skara Hedge Maze on Siege.

I was Norbert of PAG on Angel Island-- one of my favorite toons.

This got fixed in patch 1.88 , so the pets should continue the pursuit even if they stealth in 1.65

I always thought the 1.65 way made more sense, once you have a pet on your heels as a stealther you can't just stealth again...

Couple questions...

1.) Are you guys planning to implement the battlegrounds medal of valor quests from patch 1.60? Would be a nice incentive to speed up the leveling process, and be something to rally people together to get credit, ect. The medals can be obtained from each battleground, also from lvl 35-40 and again at lvl 40-45 by taking an enemies merchant keep in the frontier. I know how you guys feel about free levels but maybe give 3/4 of a lvl of xp as the reward. I think this would be a great thing to get people into rvr after 35 especially the casual player that may be without a guild.

It wont let me post a link but if you google daoc patch 1.60 you can read about it if interested

2.) Are you going to keep the herald warmap on the uthgard website that shows the keeps being attacked with flames? Also will the warmap (/rw) be implemented that shows the keeps under attack in game? I dont think this feature existed during patch 1.65 but i didnt dig through the notes.

My opinion is I prefer not having this and depending on guilds to claim keeps and relay info about what keep is under attack.

In regards to 2.), warmap shennanigans were introduced with new frontiers, so we are safe!

I don't mind the keepstatus on the Herald, not too much impact ingame imho

On Uthgard 2.0 are you going to fix the miss and fumble rate on stunned targets? I can recall many, many times of slamming either a monster or someone in PvP and fumble or just plain miss. How in the world can you miss hitting a stunned target? It's really not even possible!

- "Camp bonuses" have been substantially upped in dungeons. Now camp bonuses in dungeons are, on average, 20% higher than outside camp bonuses.


will you have this feature on uth 2? (i´d prefer no camp bonus at all)
