Keep and Task Reward Changes

Then people need to start claiming, and hopefully defending more keeps.

guard tasks for me weren't about not wanting to RvR. it was about not having a solid block of time to just sit and play without interruption. guard tasks were nice because i could do one and then put the game aside and come back and still productively solo rps. camping amg is mostly out of the question for me because i can't just sit and wait for ppl to show up and give my 100% attention to the game in case i get perf'd while i am changing a diaper. i just can't. it's also why i don't group.

as a friar, amg works like this. Get ganked by a multiple stealthers. Run around trying to find or /taunt the 1 stealther you know is there but won't fight you. Wait for a fg to roll through and port you back home. Or someone with a shield shows up and makes me burn all my ra's just to eventually lose the fight because defense penetration is not implemented. Take away stealth groups, stealth gimps and classes that can spec shield and what's left for a solo 2H player? guess it's time to finish off the infil and lay low on the being a solo visible.

personally, there is nothing wrong with the way anyone wants to play the game. our lives and availability to play are different. this nerf simply abandons a certain type of player. not sure how it helps the server whenever there is a change that could potentially hurt the server's player base.

So you want to get rps without having to concentrate on the game at all, sounds legit. Sorry, playing the game, and getting rp rewarded to you, should mean you actually play it. If you can't pay attention, thats your loss.

Exactly Loda, come on now. This isnt your first time playing an MMO. It takes time and dedication to get a class anywhere in a game like this. If you dont want to invest the time and energy in actually playing this game then go to a insta 50 server where you can get free armor, lvl 50, and RR13L0 in a matter of minutes. You are on the wrong server it sounds like.

Just raided a keep with orange guards, not sure which lvl i guess lvl 2, gave 1k RP. How is that gonna be 150% increase? :(

Simple, you would have got 400 RP before. Reward scales with keep level and difficulty.

Keep difficulty = keep doors, not lord lvl ;) or like 80% doors 20% lord ;)

RP reward for guard tasks will fade starting at RR4 and reach the low point at RR8


well i don't know if it's a bug or it's working as intended but Kill Tasks (you know the "kill 5/20 mids/hibs enemy") have been nerfed too, i took 1175rp on a 5L toon and only 200rp on a 11L

it's a bug or not?

The issue is a lack of population EST. This adjustment does not fix that issue.

This change is not complite.
Now conquer a keep is a usefull thing (at least for personal purpose: rps) but defend it doesn't worth anything at the moment.

Maybe, put a rps bonus killing ppl near your realm keep could improve the importance of defend a keep.

Like month ago with the purpose of keep taking tasks ^^

Although I will miss doing solo tasks as I think it is very important for people who prefer solo fighting and sometimes find themselves with a great amount of down time at AMG, especially during US times, I welcome the idea and future occurrence of more keep warfare fights.
