There were two gnomes is Hadrian's as well, don't know about Emain. Wasn't able to get a lot of eggs because of the zerg at MMG.

For me it was a nice event, but for players not doing RvR regularly i think this event could ve been frustrating

We was there too, with a small guild grp. And we were bashed sometimes by rr8+ grps... but hey nvm

i really enjoyed not being able to participate in this low level discriminatory event.

Maybe next time we can have an event only for the Polish players, or only for female trolls, that way we could alienate even more people.

Instead of complaining try to give some constructive ideas to the GM's instead, what kind of event would you like to see?
Give them new ideas instead of just saying "This sucks"..
It is pretty hard making an event that is interesting for both lowbies and L50's on the same time without having it require way too much effort..
I'm sure they are open to new ideas if you have some though

This is a classic style <with modifications of course> server. Classic style DAOC was built around RvR. Sorry if you don't have a LV 45+ you can take into OF zones. Says you joined in 2008...you have no LV 50 yet or something or you just trying to stick up for the little man? Must be an Alb...

Ok so i was a little ****** (why sensor that, i meant annoyed) that i couldn't join in on a server event because i didn't qualify, which is because i obviously don't play the game like everyone else and try to get as many 50's in a short a time as possible.

Oh, and let me just edit my post and add "This Sucks", so that your quote is actually correct and putting your racist insults aside (as I'm not an alb), it is entirely up to me if i choose to play this game for it's PVE content or its RVR content and that fact that i joined Uthgard in 2008 has got feck all to do with anything.

As to events, I personally preferred the Christmas event as it was more geared towards my casual play style. Everyone got to participate because the portals were accessible to everyone, which meant that new players and old each had an equal chance of taking part. Do the staff still not have the code for the Christmas zone that they could re-use, or was scripting in a load of new mobs and their actions less effort?

I know the staff here want to force everyone into RVR, but to be honest my small amount of online time does not allow me to get all the best gear and best RA's, and i cant devote too much time scouring the web for the best cookie cutter class. Therefore i do not participate in open RVR, plus i'm getting old and cant press the keys as quick as some of you young 'uns, as my brain goes into total meltdown when someone shouts "INC!". It's the way i play and I'm happy with it.

Oh and before you all go off on "well if you don't RVR deal with not doing the events"; this is a forum for feedback and ideas, my post gave overly sarcastic feedback stating that i didn't like the event.

FYI I also have no problem with the server or staff here as i think Uthgard is fantastic.

Oh really? Perhaps you missed THIS event, or THIS one.. or perhaps even THIS one!!

Instead of just complaining about the GMs (who are VOLUNTEERS btw) helping to maintain this server and come up with events for us, try posting constructive criticism and give them ideas. They aren't omniscient and can't read everyone's mind. I am sure they would welcome suggestions or ideas for their next event.

where in my post did i insult the GM's, or are you just jumping on the forum hero bandwagon?
