The Devs have taken their own time to get this server working as best it can. When the old server was up people would complain about all the stuff that didn't work. Then when the Devs take it down for a reboot people complain about that. If I was working on the server and reading all the whiny posts people are making I am not sure I would want to continue. Why should they, they aren't being paid. At the very least I would remember all the people that complained and ban their IPs. Clearly those people don't deserve to play on a FREE SERVER. So its taken awhile for the devs to update people..... could it be because they specifically said they will ONLY IF THERE IS ACTUAL NEWS? I don't need a play by play of what they are doing. It takes maybe 5 minutes a week to come here and fine out whats going on. If you think it is a waste of your time to come to the forums for a couple minutes a week THEN STOP COMING. I for one will welcome the lack of constant and idiotic posts you complainers create. I would much rather just see actually updates or happy posts about what people plan to do when the server comes back up. Kildich you state the same information in every post. Yes this is a freeshard and mainly non-profit, but do you not realize how any sort of SUCCESSFUL business is run in this world? You cannot expect to give a community an estimated time of relaunch and then leave them in the dark. We can all agree that Blu and the other devs have failed at properly communicating to the hundreds, even thousands of people that have invested their own time into this server. You are looking at this in a completely wrong perspective. How many MMORPG's are out in the world now? With no update in over 3 months, how can you not expect players from this community to begin to migrate and permanently become invested in other games? Telling people to stop coming to this forum because they are curious of when their favorite game will be back sickens me. It's people like you that are going to ultimately ruin this sever, not the hundreds of people posting (or crying in your words) wondering if or when we will ever see Uthgard. Proper business communication is a must for anything to be successful, it is not a "privilege." Non profit or corporation, I think I can speak for all of us when I say that it's been far too long since the server was taken down. We deserve to know what is going on, even if it means that we may never see Uthgard again.

This also ISN'T a business, they owe you nothing. I don't remember them ever saying how long they expected the server to be down. Also this is how they have pretty much always communicated. If you and the other whiners don't like it there is the door. You are not required to be here. If this were a business, they were/will be delivering a product that really no one else has. If there is another DAoC server out there that you think is as good as Uthgard was and can even better in the future than all of you whiners by my guest and leave. You can speak for yourself and the other selfish people constantly and daily crying about news but that doesn't mean you deserve anything. You deserve nothing. You are not paying them for news, you are not paying them for a server. You get what you pay for. If you had paid money when they had taken down the server and they had PROMISED a new launch date then you would be able to complain but I highly doubt you spent any money help them and THEY NEVER PROMISED A DATE. Do you know why I keep posting the same stuff? Its because of idiots like you that keep posting "where is the server" "waaaaaahaaaaa no update" "I am owed a great server that has everything live had when it was great". You people are demanding like a 5 yr old is demanding. Tell your parents to take away your internet, you don't deserve to be on it.
