There is a trader in Emain. Just cross the bridge from Crau to Crim and
walk down south aside the river. There you'll find an eateregg-merchant.

It was a really great event and made lots of fun.
The only sad thing was that emain is too laggy for so many people ;)

when i read this, first thing i think was how the high realm ranks will run aruond and gank all the pre 50's. next i thought how apealing this will be since albs tend to stay out of emain. fresh target. tons of arpees.

then after it will be over, these few 50's gruops will be begging for MORE, and declare how that was the best time they ever had.

the poor pre- 50 wuold feal voilated at the end of this event.

i did not speak of these. why? easy, i know people wuold only harrass my comments. i seee monty was brave anoufe to speak up, to say what was on his mind. and how did people treat him? told him to STFU.

that is why i learned to never bring topics like this up. anyways lets see if i was correct.

i did get a few kills to start, then i was ganked bye the same mid gruop 5 times in a row, then rolled bye a HIB zerg. me and my gruop tryed to play. we realy tryed. but we had to say screw this. and all left.

so did i enjoy. NO

did the professional 50's enjoy? HELL YES.

so tell me to STFU. and ill ingore you. i can say what i like.

Well Yrd, if you run around as not-lvl50-char or solo/non full group on
usual paths it is obvious that you get killed, but as soon as the realms
considered to team up there have been some really nice fights and I'm
pretty sure that almost everyone gained some arpees and eastereggs.

The point why I asked monty to please stfu has got the following reasons:

1) Staff organized an event and the number of participants just show
that the majority accepted and enjoyed it. Niggling around even before
the event is over is just unfriendly.

2) Considering montys previous postings it is obvious that he is one of
the players who want easy mode over all and hesitates or even refuses
to go to emain. So, thinking about the usual situation in Emain being a
pretty empty RvR zone except if there's an event drives me crazy.

I really loved the event. Of course I made a lot arpees and got 50 eggs,
but even if I had been ganked and didn't collect that many eggs I'd have
liked it, because today you could see what it means to have large scale
engagements in EmainMacha and please consider that your character
will become stronger each time you visit Emain, especially if you coordinate
your realmmates.

With regards
Sethor

100% agree to sethor.
i saw albs killing hibs and mids, i saw mids killing albs and hibs and i saw hibs killing albs and mids.
so i think most people of every realm enjoy that event.
why we cant do this everyday? i dont mean easteregg-event, i mean all people with 50er chars log them and do rvr in emain, not in braemar/wilton/thidranki.

i never ever talked abouth easy mode, i just said that on this sort of events, where players lower then lvl 40 are invited, it would maybe be better to only give rp's if you kill a player that is the same or higher lvl then you are, that's all.....

and if you knew me, you would know why i don't do rvr too often, i like this game but some are better in rvr, other are better in other stuff, so because rvr is maybe all that matters to you, don't judge on others if they choose not to play it the way you do it..

and having a Fg of low lvl's beeing run over 5 or 6 times by the same high lvl grp, crusing around all the time looking for easy RP's is maybe fun for the high lvl's, it's not for the low lvl's... but you are in the winning team so you loved it....

what i wanted to say, if you ask low lvl players to join an event, maybe there should be some kind of rule to protect them a bit, a lot of low players got disgusted and won't come to emain as soon as you want it...

and telling them they got stronger because they got 500 RP, while you guy's farmed 5 or maybe 10K rp's is just sick...

but i know, you will flame me again, and this post is gonne be wasted and closed...

it was very nice to hold an event, everybody was very happy abouth it, i just wanted to tell that this sort of events should be fun for all players, not only for the whining high lvl's that chase others out of emain and then feel bad because thay can't kill enemy's all day...

btw @ sethor: STFU too, and maybe try to be a bit nicer and stop flaming

events are meant to have fun right?

for a game to be fun we need balance.

so.... why not have the event in breamer.

no problem with low levels. everybody shuold have a 30. least peole who come for the event wuold.

no rr7.6 gank gruops.

why did we need to do it in emain? only reason for emian is for the arpee farming. looks to me the truth for this was a arpee farming oppertunity.
does an event need to be rvr? was this all but a excuse to get arpess?

hell i came out to look for the egg, silly me. ( i fuond 2).

i read people wanting a pvp event, and now i see why. they can goto alb and wipes alb low level popilation and get 10 time the xp they seen today.

oh btw monty, think more like 30- 60,000 arpees.

Why not bramer? Beacuse main deaoc feature is RA's and i love daoc for it .. in bramar u have almost no Ra's .. clases especialy tanks dont have even a half of their strength .... RvR in bremer is not serious rvr .... i could count hundrerds of reason why not bremer ...

imo the only real problem (on alb side) was a large number of lower lvl players and a serious lack of 50's, combined with a poor sense of organisation between guilds/groups. groups were unbalanced, underpowered, etc. but that's not the fault of the gms or the concept of the event, where were all the lvl 50 albs? who even considered group-setup?

i mean, i spent most of the time solo or in a group of 2 or 3 lvl 40-45 players, no clerics, no speed, no crowdcontrol.

it was a fun event and i agree with both sethor and monty, since it's not really fun if you get killed over and over again. but again, the fault lies with a poorly organised realm where lower lvls were more interested in the event than the lvl 50's

ps: and sethor, ffs, try to be at least a bit more polite in the future. this "i like to ****** off others" attitude is really getting old
pps: elwin... daoc's main feature is RA's? how long have you been playing? there weren't even any RA's at the start of daoc.

Thank you for this nice event @ Staff and Community (and Easter Bunny :P)

I'm happy that i was able to participate in this one although there were great lags all the time and often enough just zerg - i missed some tactical options.

But on the other hand it was a chance for lows to get some RPs and a lot of fun :)
