Actually we in mid as the second group never had a chance. Why? Because leading group was partly made by x-realming albs, who got info/help about the quests from their alb friends who finished first (dont tell me please that it wasnt so, because i KNOW it from some of them). And even more, Casinii gave some hints exactly when the leading grp (x-realming albs) were stuck, and we (EdN group) as the 2nd group were about to catch them up (i can give details if needed). Why would he help the leading group? I dont know.

So i'd rather have an event where any of the 150 players have a chance to win by /random or maybe a solo event (where everybody can be first/second), ---- OR/AND i would like to see something done about X-realming, because its a really old problem by now.

And maybe next time the rewards are listed, so that everybody knows if they will invest their time or not (maybe they consider they have a weak group and skip the event if a second/third etc place is not worthy enough).

Like someone said earlier, i wasted 9 hours for a pet.

I didn't even start the quest.. being from East Coast USA and getting off work 6 hours after the quest started there weren't any groups even attempting this quest.

Also, gauging the rewards based upon the Easter quest I didn't feel this quest was worth 6+ hours of my time.

As one of the First Alb Grp i can assure you this is a plain lie.

I second Laroth there, we have helped noone.
We also were mostly far ahead of the tips.

Questnpc's & Items were in completely different zones (Albion - Midgard - how could they have helped here anyways?)

You were never up to catch us. As we meet each other at the cook we were 2-3 steps ahead of you. The only reason you might have been up to catch us was that people from our group told comet where dragon egg is, where the gryphon is etc.
But give details pls I want to laugh about you.
And now you complain about us. I wonder if this is still kinda personal against me.

I can understand that the second group is a bit angry about the rewards. I thought the 1st & 2nd get equal rewards but it wasn't like this.

that's the point for me ... next time Casinii please consider that if u help some1 u should think about he could give some help to the other realm not the same

btw considering that as embryonic event test my vote is : 9/10 ( egg in malmo should be more ^^ , for 10/10 )

When i gave any hints, i did it in a fair way. When i saw people got stucked, the step doesnt matter, then i gave some discret hints. No one was prefered! This is personal attack on me! I don't care which guild won and i don't care about the caracters, cause I don't even know them. I'm here to support you and we all got a lot of appeals during the day. I acted in a fair way!

i'm just taking act about runis word that say u give hints for stuk problem in alb

so... even if

u give to some1 that's stuk on step 'X' some hints
and indirectly that men give the hint for step X to some1 is on step (X-5)

a simple way to solve it ?
NEXT TIME u can do same/or similar step for all realms but in different order ... such like
mid RAT = step 2
alb RAT = step 7
hib RAT = step 5

so even if ppl talking they only get confused about the sequence ^^

talk about solution , dont worry about the past ... find a way to be more smart than 'smarties' ^^

Just ridicoulus.

we started the event with random grp
we lost a lot of time on more then one step, because:
1- we tought every member of the grp needed to givze the answers, or find the items
we even went back to lyo cause one of us missed a part of his mug
2- we got stuck at the rats for over an hour withouth any hint
3- if we had known we didnt have to do ALL the steps to complete the quest, we could have started at the stinky part, cuz one of us had gotten the hint when on horse from llyn barfog , just before it started
4- we lost our drive after like 7 hours cuz we got tired and boored spending all that time on a horse, i logged out after 7 hours cuz i got up at 6 for work and fell asleep a few times (i'm old)
all by all, not a bad event, just a pity the rats (was fun at first) didn't work at all, and after a long time, we all got the feeling we just where forced to travel from one side of the map to the other side, over and over again...
for someone extremely smart, or someone who knows how it works, it could be a challenge.. but the challenges where mostly to simple to make up for the long travel times inbetween

for next events i would love to see:
-make it to be a quest, with the journal, needing to do all the steps, this way i bet there is a way to see who has the fastest time
havin to be in a grp doesn't change a thing then
-don't send people from one end of the map to the other, over and over, you can do that a few times, but not over and over, it's no fun if you find a NPC and just have to look at the map to know where he will send you to
-be clear abouth the rewards, make sure ppl know what they can win, our grp was second, it was stated that the first two grp would get a reward, only one of the initial players got a reward, and only 4 rewards where given to the whole grp

if you say "first two grps, then reward them

In my eyes it's logical that the 2nd group can't get the same rewards like the first group. Cause there is the factor that grp1 can give hints to grp2. Well we talked about the step system. If there will be such an event in the future we will work with queststeps!

But hopefully as group quest so you can switch chars/members

u can make more interesting the rvr routine with that events .... atleast 1 bit each month and more little ^^
