We killed him yesterday night, but you need alot of concentration and teamplay to actually do it right. We wiped once on it (we already knew how to kill it theoretically, though), killed in second try.

it's manageably but one mistake (or even one lag on a slower computer) can lead to group whipe.

Sortrom the Deranged is BUGGED. He cant be attacked when he faces you. So a maintank cant attack him, he cant be attacked only positionally like back or side. Frontally he is out of view or so.

Also his spawned pillars hit you everywhere, even out of his playyard. If he does one @ the bindstone then u insta die at every release. Look at the screenshot and enjoy.

@ First issue: This happened to us today in the whole of Tajendi - so it's regarding all Mobs and not just Sortrom.

@ Second Issue: Noticed that, too =/ I had 10 times sickness :D like imba walkspeed.

seems like the melee bug was a general one, now fixed after the reboot :)

Will there be any possibilty in the near future to go to the tajendi world in duo, threesome or perhaps even solo, cause gathering 4 people in low hours is sometimes hard if you don't have an active guild or alliance to rely on.

This shouldn't be for fighting the boss mob or doing the mainquest but for exploring world itself and doing some of the neat side quests (eg. coconut liquor in taj1)

I also want to say that tajendi is a real nice work done by the uthgard staff. I even like the eastereggs hidden in it (eg. the balcony view @ the temple boss mob)

Curious to see taj 2, i did taj 1 and yes its kinda boring cause the NPC s talk too much and few action..
I enjoyed doing ML10 on oficial..looking forward to see taj2

the problem only awakes when someone hits sortrom with bleeding or dot , then he will be infigth after u released and spawn fires agan :)

otherwise at the witch agneska, her adds kill u after release with a bleeding again and again .

I am disappointed that Taj2 takes so long to complete. Also the drops are too powerful and give the players who posses them quite an edge in making templates (not to mention the one with str/con charge).

This reminds me of ToA very much. I do not have time to spare 15+ (!!) hours at once, even if I could somehow force myself to. I can also forget about forming the same group several times for 5+ hours. This is just another cake for hardcore players :?

Yup, it is a cake for those player who have seen every thing else in DAoC, exactly.

However, it is not only for those who can spare 15+ hours at once ;) - For one, the quest can be completed in a third of this time without much problems, and secondly, it can be done in parts.

If you are unable to finish it in one run, just collect the parts for the tears and continue later - The group doesn't need to be exactly the same, but one person of the group has to have these items in his or her backpack.

And yup, I'm sorry that there is no way to "save a game" properly in DAoC, but that is the way it is, and so you have to live with compromises we made.

By the way: The long play time is the only reason we seperated the temple from the rest, and the only reason we implemented item-based portals like the tear-socker in the north east, which allows you to split the whole area into small, "saveable" pieces

Well then, only get one tear and kill Churiel, and THEN do everything over again :P
