I don't know for you but in my opinion be killed by 8+ (hib or mid) when you are alone, is absurd.
Usually when you're a grp you are looking for other grp, so you should not kill the poor people who run alone. In my opinion this is pathetic behaviour that certain grp have. Somethime i was killed by 12-13 ppl.... This seems right for you? sorry for my English Owudd |

If this happens to you, stop running alone and start trying to build a group.
There would be no RvR if people would have to think about, how fair it would be to start a fight, when seeing enemies. This is a game, you can continue playing after you were killed ![]() |

I find it puzzling that they can be bothered to stop moving or chase someone to kill them.
If I had a choice I wouldnt, but then the other 7 people would just kill them anyway. It also depends who is running solo....if its a RR 9 warden then ill charge straight for him running him over like a steamroller. |

Time before I though like you. It would be nice if big groups don't kill solos but there is a big collateral effect.
What would happen? I went in a server when they usually do it, and the result is: Everyone roll a solo char, and go around for duel. If groups wouldnn't kill solos, then everyone could go solo. Instead if groups kill solos, they all group or call for help and they make group. I like to go solo too, but I know I can be killed by a fg, or by 3 or by a solo. Going alone and pretending to fight only solos it's duel, rp farming at my eyes. Even worst the duel with /bow I run alone, I try to avoid roads and fg routes and try to kill everything I meet not adding^ |

on the other hand - what do you do if you see a 8vs8 ?
you´ll make a 9v8 out of it . maybe you won´t do it , but out of my experience most people do. and it doesn´t matter what class you are . even a lvl5 healer can rupt a cleric if he really wants to - and that can sometimes turn into a disaster. people get angry at each other and start to log out - bam ! no more rvr ![]() so on the next day they don´t let that small innocent lvl5 healer jumping their path. was a bit over the top , but i guess you got what i meant. |

Albion is the most of time RvR inactive.(Try to run with different players ...DAoC is the wrong game for arrogance)
Hib tries to get same number of members like Mid(who is always starting zerging for 4 days now...) Problem is that they were running with nice grps and 70% are highrr (exspecially the supporter). We get maybe same player number ,but low RR and RND grps makes RvR difficult. When we get 1 good FG , but if , they log or come with more players like 9-12 (or 2 FGs which are sticking ...) I don´t know why they want all the time easymode kills and added to that a big chance for get logging all enemies... i see no sense in it. <Riot Control> Albion

I think the bset RvR is when everyone logs in, regardless of how many players, make groups if they want, and just charge into agramon...

The subject is: What do you think of groups (8 and more) running after individual?
So Rent if you want to start flame about mid try to open another topic for that (and note what you reproach to mid for 4 days was a standard for hib during years). Like already stated many things can be the source of the problem. Some think this individual might add once time come for fight, some others just think if he is in this zone he must be prepared to die, some others just don't care and want the rps. On the other side, individual are not all soloers (and there is really few anyhow) who will effectively add, leech or whatever term you wish, because they are quite ****** to get zerged, because they want arpee or simply because they don't care. On both side it will depend on who are the players. On each realm there is the well know adders and soloer (and i suppose even those after being zerged the whole day will certainly join the mass fight). Now there's no doubt that if everyone follow the Talion law or do not try to behave more fairly, there will be few, or no place, for those different type of gameplay. So, if you want to preserve the "solo way" through this game the good start is to add as few as you can, and when in group telling your mates not running after individuals (best is driving the group, most people seems blind and you might be able to "save" some enemy individual). |

Yep, mids ruin nice fights by always bringing more. If we have 8 and you 8, you don't need 16!! Fight with 8! |

you wanna run around solo, roll a stealther or a speeder, other way you'll be killed. that's a choice.

you`ve never heard something about Increasing fights with MORE population? if you only want XvX go play WoW or something other instanced PvP. The funniest Fights are the real big fights. That is RvR and not XvX or Group vs Group. Just take more from your realm if the others getting more. Also take some 48/49 then those thid campers will see how funny Agramon can be. ![]() |

Sometimes we don't really have enough players and if we get 2 fgs, most of time second grp is rnd and low rr, while you get decent rr full SCed 2 grps, + some adders. Not always, but most of times.

hmm thid chars can have sc and 4l0 so they wont get killed so quickly

ok, 3-4 hits^^
if you con blue to your enemie, and he con orange to you he will kill you quite fast. if you play kiting-class you could have a chance, all others not. |
