Today was a bad day... after having real huuuge fun with my bard in thid, in the last time i tried to take a first look at Agramon RVR. i wish i did not.

it began after porting to crauch,... we were 4, or 5 Hibs, and we stood there, in front of that keep,... and we stood,... and we were waiting for some "inv me"- and go afk guys, and we stood... and stood. in thid im sure i had 5,6 incs in that time,... but we just stood in 50 rvr, thousands of units away from any possible inc. after approx 25 mins some (including me) began to get nervous. so we did our first steps, and gave a ****** bout those we were waiting for. i almost forgot where the "wasd" key was... and then,... then it began to lag,... i swear, i had more SL player in that few units, than in a whole evening thidranki rvr.
after we looped us to the milegate we finally found some mids,.. just a grp of 2, or 3,... after some had the idea to get CK,... ok, so we "ran" back to crauch.
dunno how long it took,.. but im sure it was bout 10 mins of,.... yes,... standing :( finally we bought our 67 ramparts, made sure we had all, and lagged back towards milegate. SL,Loop , Stop,... waiting for some laggd aways, ran some units... SL,Loop , Stop,... waiting for some lagged aways... and so on. i really had to pay much more attention to my grp as i had time to "radar" for some incs.
so we finally arrived there. Agra CK,... yeah. soon we found out that we have no char in grp who is able to use the items we bought before to build a siege. thank Hibgod's there was a solo who was able to.

after we solved the siege problem, we took CK and began to roam again in the known procedure, SL,Loop , Stop,...

after some more units we, actually me,(grp was one more time SL,) found a fg Mids at CK half grp reached keep,.. the other including me died by resists ,trying mezz between the lags. after rel, the half grp died again at crauch bridge by some mids waiting.

last action. people called each other gimped and logged out.

Dear Diary,... i really hope that im not 4l2 too soon,... i want to enjoy some more time in instant Thid-Fun RVR, where i dont have to wait 20 mins til i can even think bout that grp could probably be ready soon, where i can watch for inc, instead of being worried bout loosing whole grp when i dont take a look back every 5 secs, where i can reach CK without 5 stops, 9 loops and 18 SL's,and 400k units between relpoint and Action. i just want stay in Thid RVR.

Agra Sucks!

Thanks for ur attention.

dear diary,

agramon is cool. There are just not enough people going there to try to have fun because they all prefer the unskilled bgs and dont want to become 50. Its so sad. With more players the zone would be much funnier and no one would have to complain about map. Its always the players making the map.

thx diary^^

Indeed Agramon is a nice map. It worked quite well on i50 and its such a shame is not that populated here, as it and the server would deserve it.
Maybe remove the 'push-penaltiy' (the highest player determines the xp) from the xp system and make it live like. That would make it easier to build levelgroup when there are not enough equal level player around.

i think some more battlegrounds would be good so there is no more central rvr in the bgs. With a number of bgs like on live the bgler would have to split up even more and so the bgs become more and more unintersting but are still helpful. In the end theyll see that only lvl 50 rvr is a thing a player is sure to find enemys and friends.

Dear Mampfer's Diary.

I just think the "older" my char grows, the less options to have fun he has. with 35 i had much fun in Braemar, allways something to fight against, what a pitty this stupid RR barrier kicked me out of that zone when it starts to get real fun,... but np. lets xp to wilton,... and hey when i do xp off in wilton i can go to thidranki too,.. how cool is that? its almost like any other "action" game where u r able to mapchange and fight after against the same people again, but in a different map. and allways its kinda balanced,2 Fgs fight each other, both grps have players D.I.A, some more some less, and allways they come back in a few mins.cuz they all win in a way. In Agra most time no one dies in grp,... or all die without having killed a single enemy.
in agra i feel very annoyed dieing in a grp without rezzer, when its the case that not all died. i have to run back the whole way (and im bard,... tho it feels like crossing continents, compared to distance i have to do regroup in thid)
and somehow my stomach tells me im not the only one who thinks that way.

However, i know 50 RVR can be fun! it was great once as Minstrel in Emain Macha.the way it is now,Agra, is not very "I like to have some fun, in the few hours i have til i have to go sleep-Player"-friendly.
maybe its the huge RR range we have there 1l1 - open end. or its the general "zzZZZzzZZz" mentality of the 50's when they are in range of a teleporter keep why poeple dont enjoy this kind of rvr. or maybe its cuz of the huuge and highfreequent lags there, i never expierienced before in any BG.or its just cuz people take RVR not that serious, oh i forgot, non Serious - RVR is unskilled, but u know what mate? it's Fun! u should try ;)

but theres some light at the end of the tunnel,i got 2 new twinks reaching wilton cap soon,... that makes 4 Realmranks full of inc's,weird setups, and loads of FUN.

thats the typical problem...jsut to many think the same way as you thats why no one is in agramon and thats why agramon is annoying. If there would be no bgs and all would play agramon it would be much funnier there. Maybe bgs draw a lot players to uthgard but they are also decreasing lvl 50 rvr and thats in my opinion more important then bg rvr.

It was my idea! :D I'm famous!

But Phonik is right in one thing. Agramon is truelly laggy. I cant explain why but i get sl really often (always by milegates and ck keep). Maybe it's because of my graphic but i dont lag so hard playing on other maps (even df with new graphic). If anyone has any tip how to solve this problem or knows the reason, i'm waiting for you help:)

when agramon was proposed all were so happy there will be a change...and now all hate it because of lacking players...where are all those players who voted for agramon?

The only solution and the only good answer is GO AGRA. 49 lvl Thidranki with rr4.2 (?) cap has been created for all those players who flamed "i cant participate in high rvr with such a low rr". Now i dont see ANY of those Thid pros playing in Agra and it's not the map's fault. It is AGAIN players who create rvr and it would be nice to stop flaming and get down to work on your 50lvl sc.

i know,.. its a dilemma. I like agra as a map too! -bordered behind milegates. i like the hills and valleys, and the "flat" in the middle. makes surely great rvr options.

to delete BG's would be surely a really bad option for the servers population. the abyss between low and high RR chars will be even bigger,... only RR reset would help for a while.

People begin to see the "fun" in this game by killing enemys, get killed and watching a real balanced fight between those who r still alife, and see how others have fun, lows grped with bgcapchars, they have fun when even a fg of drood drood drood bard bard vale menta doesnt hesitate to run again out there, they doesnt ask themselves if there may be a better option to build a group. no matter, as long its not 3nme per hib,fun is all that counts. thats my expirience in this few months BG playing as a Hib.
maybe i will see something in 50 RVR zones (again), but im sure theres a need for a chanche,... maybe in system,... something new, or cutting zone, make it playable without having to expect that u will have probably just 3, or 4 runs til the first is ****** off and leaves. In BG's they fight when theres inc. in agra they get frustrated, annoyed and pulled down by bad moods, and start to loose fun, when grps r not verywell balanced.

@cespx ha! ive got a eyewitness :)

is there just 1 point u agree with me? what bout the either u all survive a fight, or u all get killed without having killed one-theory?

/edit i wear SC since wilton.

i think it was the solution to solve cespx's lags...

i don't know why some people have such lag... my computer is really a crap. i got lot of lags when i was running 1.89 with ToA .but now even with darkness rising and 1.90 i have no lag (in comparaison on few times ago) i even don't get falling dammage when i jump and fire with bow...

maybe cause i had to DL a fresh client...
