i was i a situation today. i was in df. i got past bye a group(6) of yellow / orange hibs. so i decided to follow to decided if i could get a kill.

well, i was not alone. i found a hunter also followed them. i was thinking. why would i attack him? he could help me. there is 6 hibs, 1 alb 1 mid. he will make any chance of a attack possible.

after i think about this. i remember reading people being jailed for not attacking enemy's. not sure how this would stand. attack him would unwise. he attacking me would be dumb for him. hibs would get the kills. and no more df. does he know this? would he see the situation as i did? would be be jailed for not killing each other? is there a understandable truce of enemies of enemies in df? or do people just kill you cause your red. even though its possibility your death in result.

in live i would team up with a mini with my hero in DF when Mids had it, us 2 did alot of fun work in there :+) 1hib 1 alb Alot of mids lol so aye i saw a point to duo with her.... And it was great fun :+).

But again for an example the other day i was on my bard with 1 champ/BM
we ran into 8 albs Xping, I got lucky and got a Mezz on All the albs, the Champ and BM assisted very Lovly killing 2 Very quickly... But with in 10 Secs 3 albs out of the 6 remaning attacked me lol.... didnt see them use purge or another alt demezzing BUT i did see a Hunter attacking each of the Albs once just to get the remainin 6 Demezzed (Again he did no atempt to kill a Alb just shot one once to get them Demezzed ).... soon after we died to the 6 albs.... OUCH

oh well and besides that... theres a few other examples why Game masters dont want you to realm up :+)

You sure know about this paragraph.

You can always folow realm enemys to get some kills when they atack someone as long as they are not aware of the fact that you are folowing them to fight with them another realm.

However Gms can jail you if they think you are organizing RVR together with the guy you are folowing (if you are in the same TS channel for an example) or if they know that the guy from the other realm is in fact someone you often group with in your realm and just logged his twink to help you out .......... there are in fact countless reasons they could jail you for in this matter

so my (and hopefully theyr advice) dont get yourself in such situations where it is hard to say if you are just ignoring the other realmmember to get more rps -with no organisation at all-, or if you are in fact organazing this with him.

almar this was the point exactly. i simply loged cause i did not want to end up jailed. i had no intent to shot this hunter or want to. so logging out was beter then to risk jail time. I just wonder if the admins listen to why i did somethng. and say, "oh that is fair". or maybe they heard so many excuses and ild be talking to a deaf ear.

you shuold here people explain to me how there bot is not a bot cuase they either have two pc's, or i can play both easy not a problem. or its my wifes toon I'm just leveling it. ild love to hear the excuses people make. but second time i see the player cheat i alway /callgm even if guildmate.

The bolded section seems to answer the question pretty clearly to me, the two of you were in the clear as working together (or perhaps more accurately, not working against each other) was indispensable to your goal of dealing with a much larger group of hibs. If the rules were 'offer free rps to the hibs or logout because I see another realm's stealther' they would be silly right? Neither of you would have been wise to attack the other with so many mutual enemies around so why should that be expected of you?

What is against the rules is organization, and while there may be more grey areas in the BGs to worry about DF seems pretty straight forward, if one realm owns the place they are going to have a numerical advantage to begin with, the stealthers have only one shot before being banished, and it'd be tricky to organize anything even if you wanted to.

Maybe I'm reading it wrong but at heart the intent of the rules is to make things more fair and more fun and having to log doesn't strike me as either. In any case I wouldn't be too paranoid about punishment until you 'just happen' to meet the guy for a hib lunch every day for a week.

Well there is no rule that enforces you to attack any enemie you see, so this would be a case where it is ok to cooperate as long as you don't talk to him via IRC or another chat platform (what means organization).
