Can we perhaps establish a discord channel to coordinate RVR and stuff? Im back from the 27th on and want to have some fun. Drafts will hard be to conduct with the realm locks, but a good start would be lists of players per realm and a central discord to coordinate and start dedicated frontier action.

All people available to play Uthgard IN THE FRONTIERS between 17Dec18 and 11Jan19 should get their name/realm/classes/discord in this thread! Lets have a good time here!

I will not be around until the evening of the 27Dec18. Lets start to collect player pools for smallman/8s per realm and someone who knows his way around could setup a discord to have a platform for coordination and contacts. Currently it comes down to watching realm map for keeps lights .. which seems ancient! And isn't even action per se..

In core ure right TC, more coordination and stuff would be nice, but its not allowed. Why the nerds just meet in Emain like always? Worked alltime, but now the groups running in Odins to find enemys... just crazy imo.

And there are nearly no competitive groups out, RvR this days means Keepraids. No sharks in the sea these days, sharks stop to play imo mostly.

Maybe don't wipe a perfect server next time and you'll have RvR active population and not keep taking bots. Also, even on uthgard1 it was allowed to say in which zone we're in, as long as we didn't say our location. There are also no guarantees that we're not bluffing so it makes for a fun mind game. Nobody cares anyway.

It was never against the rules to say "we're out" or "we're in emain" as long as you don't give any other info. Again, you could also be lying so it's fun. Most of the people don't want RP farm, most of the people don't like arranged duels. However, we've lost 80% or more of normal RvR population. Some of them forever, some will be back when the other server fails because even people who like arranged fights will get bored there. At the moment, we have keep taking bots, people who brag how they have been playing the game for 15 years and can't win a 24v8 fight because they get mentally paralyzed if they see anyone above rr7 in the 8man and so on. Old RAs are garbage, patch level is garbage and population which is a mix of ex-genesis lemmings + noobs who appeared out of nowhere is the real problem. You'd think you actually want to attract some decent RvR oriented people, yet you're enforcing your Gestapo like policies like it's 2002. and you're the only show around and there are 70000 people wanting to play daily.

Bottom line is, you can't prevent arranged fights. If people are smart enough not to chain kill each other and RP farm and cover it up a bit, you can't really prove they're cheating. Also, many people play at odd times and are happy when they can get any fights in, so if they're in a bonus zone and come out to fight each other 20 times in a row, it's not uncommon. I've seen it happen plenty of times on uth1 even when people didn't know each other, they were just happy to have inc at 4 AM EU time or what not. There is no way you can prove they're cheating and you can't just ban people based on your assumptions. Unless you observe all those fights and you see that people are letting each other win just to farm RPs, banning anyone for that is literally cheating of sorts on your side.

But yeah, other than actually saying something meaningful, Herr Abydos jumps right away to enforce some idiotic rule on a person who just wanted to create some healthy action without actually arranging fights, but rather having a pool of people who will say if they're running on certain days or not. Massively detached from reality as usual.

I joined the discord, and will tell if we run and in what frontier, maybe... I don't want any other information and will leave as soon as more info is provided. I think it can do good and not against the rules, but time will tell.
