hello gms- this has been in the issue tracker for over 7 months any update on this? Only posting because this seems to be buried and lost.

Considering Theurg Air Pets and Nature Druid Pets don't give stun immunity, it's a safe bet that Spiritmaster Pets should not be supposed to give stun immunity either. Got no proof of it, just common sense. No pets ever gave stun immunity in DAoC. Siege - Warrior
Envoy - Bard Aegis - Blademaster Ethical - Mentalist |

You do have proof, you just have to look for it. http://camelotherald.wikia.com/wiki/Pat ... rsion_1.72 "Â - We have changed how the immunity timers on pet stuns work for pet classes. The immunity timer will be five times the length of the stun. For example, a pet with a one second stun will now grant a 5 second immunity. The pets affected by this change are the Cabalist Amber Simulacrum, Spiritmaster's Summon Spirit Thrall line, and the Druid's Summon Nature Spirit line." Adding this to the ticket in question would probably be in your interest. Alainna

Those 1.72 patchnotes contradict both Llaw 'No pets ever gave stun immunity in DAoC' and the ticket in question.
Clearly pet stuns did give immunity. 'We have changed how the immunity timers on pet stuns work for pet classes' Changed not added/removed So there was an immunity timer before 1.72 @ which point it was changed for Cab, Sm and Druid. We still don't know exactly how they worked @ 1.65 ( i.e sm doesnt but cab and druid reportedly do on uth2 ) |

Honestly, simply use google, you will find a ton of old threads and guides. Example: Abilities – The Amber Sim has the most hit points of all the Simulacra and he casts a self-base Con buff which gives him excellent melee absorption. He has decent melee damage and can proc a 2 second stun from around 700 units that has no immunity timer. http://daocinfo.awardspace.com/guides/c ... rt%202.htm Anyways, funny as always here. So much competence |

You get a pet that blocks 80% of incoming attacks and is sometimes more like 99% . Maybe in another 7 months.

Eh, I'd argue that the context of the post suggests they did not have immunity timers. But you're right, it doesn't explicitly say so, and your argument is just as valid as mine (although with the link teddie provided, I'm inclined to continue to believe mine). Directly above the quoted text it says: "Â - We have changed how the immunity timers on combat styles work - they have been changed so that the immunity timer will now be exactly five times the length of the stun, rather than the standard one minute duration. For instance, if a combat style's stun has a 5 second duration; it will trigger a 25 second immunity timer, instead of triggering the standard one minute timer as before." Compare that to the omission of any such clarification in the originally quoted text: "Â - We have changed how the immunity timers on pet stuns work for pet classes. The immunity timer will be five times the length of the stun. For example, a pet with a one second stun will now grant a 5 second immunity. The pets affected by this change are the Cabalist Amber Simulacrum, Spiritmaster's Summon Spirit Thrall line, and the Druid's Summon Nature Spirit line." /shrug Alainna

Theurg has no pet only spells, makes a great difference. so you can not compare theurg and druid is this case. |

I thought the devs were supposed to favour mids?
Anyway... I agree, the 1.72 patch notes does not give evidence as to how SM pets worked before. It's a change that affects all the pets of those classes, it says nothing about how it was before. You really need to dig through old posts and see people posting that SM pets should give stun immunity, to have any valid proof. I, as an alb, personally think it's logical they should be like druid pets. But logic is dangerous, because my logic might not be logical to others. And that is why the devs here wants as much proof as possible. Albion and having fun

while we are at it... can someone PLEASE test this s/c bug on live?
https://www2.uthgard.net/tracker/issue/ ... t_register as of it now, the con debuff is completely wonky and actually HELPS the enemy by giving them an hp barrier for the first few seconds |
