My honest gratulation to Midgard for raiding the two str-relicts from Albion.

One week ago someone from Midgard wrote the relics will stay for ever and midgard will never get back any relics. Now Midgard has 4 relics, and i have to say midgard deserves them. The relict raid last weekend was very good organisation, very impressing. Yesterday evening there were 30 Midis in our Frontier, and after raiding two keeps we started to organize defence forces. I dont know why, but yesterday there were less Albs than normal defending their Home Zone. I think we were always a little bit lesser people than Midgard. Later on Midgard were 67 people, we managed to wipe them once in Berksted. But we could not stand against them in open field. We had only 1 Keep when Midgard attacked our relic, Flump-Group was hitting our Reraid-Group in Hurburby. Many more Albs were arriving as Excalibur was under siege, but it was too late to stop Midgard. If you want to keep reics, you always have to care. Last evening we didn't care enough.

It was a long night to reraid our Frontier, only 3 groups of Albs stayed after the relics were gone and only 8 Albs raided the last 2 Keeps in Albion. This fight was won by Midgard, but the war is not over. Maybe we will lick our wounds a few days, but we wil strike back and get our relics home to Albion.

I liked the information about the relict raid last weekend in the other thread, and i hope we will see some postings from Midgard side here. Glad to see that Midgard is back and not dead.

A few days ago Hector posted here on the Albion Realm of the Uthgard forums that Albion was doing a dragon raid at 8 AM CET, Sunday 16 July. Later he did say it was cancelled but the damage had been done! We didn't know which story to believe but we did expect there would be fewer high level Albs available for RvR so...

After we got the relics home the Albs did come to Mid and take some keeps. That battle seems to be over now, as the Mids have re capatured and claimed all Mid home land keeps.

What a huge surprise that EU Albs are useless and lost the relics. They have never done anything anyhow but PvE and inflate Alb market prices.. Only relics Alb has ever had was due to the US population.

Except you did a relic raid on the 15th, not the 16th.

Thats bullshit flaming. We often cooporate with splitquick, we had several events where splitquick overtook our bg and continued our work. Our alliance was involved in both str-relics we took, i personally rammed down the doors in midgard. So obviosly you were not involved, otherwise you would know that.

The German Alb alliance has intentionally told any US player they are not welcome on Dragon Raids for the sole purpose of keeping respec stones at 15pp+ which has caused many Albs to quit due to ATing.

While you may personally be a good egg there are many EU players that are selfish and rude to anyone who doesn't speak their language.

Funny, our alliance has just killed the dragon with us players together. Every player who gets a stone can do with it what he wants, most use it for personal use. So there are not many stones on the market, thats why prices are high and not some crude storys about greedy german alliance.

We took the relics together, US Albs and EU Albs. No US or EU Albs finished anything, we worked together.

When i look at your posting history you flame very often against your own realm, maybe it is better to ignore your postings. Thats what i will do in future. Please keep this thread polite.

I don't say this to diminish your accomplishments and I appreciate the Midgard viewpoint of events. I'll toss some Alb thoughts into the mix.

It largely just comes down to numbers and planning. Your previously planned early morning raid was mostly successful not because of harassment and scouting on previous days, but because Albs simply could not muster enough people that quick as it was insanely late for NA players and early morning for EU players. We figured you had about 8fgM to our ragtag 4fg Albs, who weren't really on the same page (many gave up once you took the relic, and didn't give chase or blockade).

Alb currently lacks the specs and classes we really need to engage in any sort of worthwhile static defense. We have barely any Ice Wizards, a few Earth, some Reavers here and there, no Painworking Necros, etc. We also don't have the efficient melee trains that Mid does because Paladins are sort of like unicorns around here.

We can't shroom to high hell like the Hibs, and we can't really mob people down in melee trains in close quarters usually, and fighting out from a keep with these keeps and structures is an exercise in extreme frustration due to LoS issues.

The attitude of making builds and classes for 8vX style of play as well as Albs class structure leaves us without many of the classes and specs we need to succeed in certain situations and I think it shows fairly obviously at times.

I agree with what you're saying. It's very difficult for Albs to form good relic defense here. That's probably why the Albs rarely bother taking the relics... They don't expect to be able to defend them.

I agree with what you're saying. It's very difficult for Albs to form good relic defense here. That's probably why the Albs rarely bother taking the relics... They don't expect to be able to defend them.

Alb is a strange place.

Some points during the day we have so many more players out than other realms it's ridiculous. It'll be a zerg of Albs and you'll see a handful of people from the other realms.

Then the Albs log off and the tide switches. I'd love to see population charts from the staff side with overall numbers and then split between realms as I feel like many times we're chasing at each other's tail ends as people log on/off and get on/off ye olde merry go round.

I Understand bumblezerg frustration, î'm pretty frustrated myself, but to defend the Ger they play during prime time so it will be hard for them to take any relics so they take keeps and when we start (NA) we can continue and take relic. No need to have anger among ourself
