Action's packed, too bad the server can't handle it.

For all those who were concerned about server's activity: 3500 people online and zerg vs zerg fights all day long.
Too bad the server couldn't handle all of it: massive lag and spell delay (from 3 seconds to over 7) that made the game unplayable, thus making the whole experience pointless and unfun.

Devs, the population's there, but you have to make sure everything's working as intended.

Make you a deal. You work on your arrogant attitude and the devs will work on this. Actually, the devs will work on it despite your attitude so :P

To be honest though, maybe the devs don't have to do anything. I noticed with I did some tests on my connection that Uthgard was not the only place I was slow. There may be some kind of wider scope phenomenon happening.

I don't see the tiniest bit of arrogance in my previous post.

It´s not the server. It´s the engine. Or did you never play liveservers?

Bring a huge amount of people to enemy relic keep, making the whole zone unplayable, get relic. But you need to be the realm of said numbers.

We Mids were having fun in Hibernia until 60 Albs grabbed our Power relic. THAT action caused our whole zerg to port to Albion where we camped inside your undefended power relic keep. When you couldn't break thru our defenses for 2 hours our power relic was teleported home and of course we grabbed the other two power relics and took em home.

TLDR: If you aren't prepared to run with the big dogs, stay on the porch.

There were huge fights like this (maybe not as big but not far from it) when new frontiers launched and it didn't lag.

So no, it's not the engine.
Fleshcutter the Berserker.
Zergilicious the Shaman.
Odyn the Healer.

Spare us your ****** condescension. Maybe if Alb's horse routes hadn't become a lag-induced Benny Hill routine and half of us could've even gotten to the border keep, let alone cast a spell, things might have been different.

Well... I could understand, that this must have sucked for all of you. But mate... you've got over 1 hour to gather people...

We will get the lags solved. At the moment one of our core technologies for preventing lags has problems and had to be switched off. Else you would see flickering npc's and players.
It's done when it's done. Thanks for your patience.

We were already in ALB when you guy were still in Brefine... With 300mids ... How on earth would you even break through that with your 60-80 albs? Even with working spells... Keep in mind, Mid had the exact same problems. And we even waited in your relic keep for a good 20-30min, before you showed up, so with working horses, outcome would've been the same.

Typical when alb gets a little down-wind, they cry instantly, and blame everyone else but themselves...
Taking our power relic, while we have a 300 player zerg-event in emain, is just stupidity. Obviously we rushed to albs undefended relic keep, to catch our relic, and you just happened to have 2 more, which was great.

Talking about fair-play, when we had a zerg event in another realm, and you try to sneak-it .. Pretty dumb :gaga:
This is albs own mistake, and they got burned.

Typical Mid, talking ****** when he has no idea what's going on in Alb. We had more than "60-80" on the ****** horse routes alone, you dipshit.

Guys - we know - the lag was intense. It also affected us. Just calm down and don't insult each other. Mistakes were made on both sides this evening and Mids won in the end. Step up and strike back - that's how DAoC works.

In the future, we might see huge battles without lag.

Fixed it for you. I think the Mid count exceeded hibs + albs combined (not including horse-route locked albs).
