is it allowed? i'd like to have a combat, not a dance. ppl pass through my runemaster's body so i can't quickroot, ppl pass through my war's body so i cannot make any combo because not in sight. can i still solo my shield class or do i have to reroll a savage and become a bug-user?

Imho it is not clear bugabuse, only using non-conflict phys models. Learn counterstrafe, it needs little practise, but I think you can learn it.

Maybe you would prefer if the enemy sat down?

A lot of posts are as nostalgia inducing as the game content itself. ****** classic.

so a mage that cannot quickcast a root/mezz because faced enemy is not in face makes you laugh. enjoy the "i'm inside your body, i hit you while you can't hit me" way of life

/face and /stick not working well vs straffing enemy. You need move manualy. But it needs some practise.

yeah, move manualy when using a mage. quite sure you are enough skilled to root while moving

Even /face won't allow you to complete the cast if the run-thru is timed properly - the target will not be in view for the 1ms when the vision check takes place. Melee chars can move somewhat to try and counter it, but as far as casters go... "working as intended" (tm).

I always thought it was a dumb mechanic but honestly I think I've only missed 1 quickcast because of it (rr 3L3 now). I never use /face on anyone close to me though, so maybe it would be better to just turn with mouse- as others have said.

You use /face together with jump to make yourself stop near instantly, after that there is no need for /face anymore.

And people being able to strafe run inside you, is very live like.
