I am looking for advice from daoc veterans when it comes to roaming the RvR zones in a Duo.


It's obviously pretty safe to say that any stealther (NS / SB / INF) combo will do the trick. PS: Does Scout sucks btw for roaming? Havent heard nice things about scouts/rangers/hunters sadly.


What I am asking is...is it possible to roam without stealthers? Is it possible to Duo roam with classes like a berserk or a Friar or a armsman or whatever from any faction.
Would that be very hard to pull off if we have no access to Speed and/or Stealth?

I am excluding any Caster/healer/mage/wizard/harrypotter btw, we prefer melees.



I don't even know if roaming solo/duo roaming will be possible on uthgard but hopefully yes.

Definitely possible. Assume you need speed 5---->6. What realm do you intend on playing? Narrow it down to that then we might be able to provide more insight.

Plan on minimum having either a Bard, Skald, or Minstrel.

well I can't because any realm is fine, it depends really on the duo class combo, anyway we are looking for mainly:


Armsman/Mercenary/Friar/scout/infiltrator/minstrel

War/berz/skald/savage/Shadowblade

Warden/blademaster/hero/nightshade/bard


We really prefer the other classes to minstrel/skald... but I guess having no speed in roaming is so much of an handicap




Do minstrel or bard Melee people in the face as much as a Skald? in that case I would roll one and solve our speed problem.

It is possible to make a combat bard/minst specifically designed for a duo: just drop stealth/regrowth and raise thrust/blades. Keep in mind this will make you much less appealing to a full group.
