we're trying to level so you can actually "get" RPs for your kills. Killing gray players only "slows" down your "real" RvR.

Sorry, no sympathy here. If you find me leveling in an RvR zone, I'm considered open game :p We have entire continents filled with non-pvp areas to level in otherwise. Taking the risk to level in RvR is part of the excitement imo!

I've been roaming with my mid guild, in Hiblands last couple of days, and we kill all nasty greys we see, we bash dem silly elfies and crush dem lurikeens.. ok ? Can u understand now...

As a hib, I can agree that it gets annoying that everyone seemingly only rvr's in our frontiers but you can still get good xp and groups going for awhile in frontiers. Just make sure to look for INC and have a preplanned place to run to if you get a high lvl group coming after you.

Ofc, to level in the FZ is risk and its part of the game.
But DaoC is not focused on killing lowlevels. So maybe everyone should think about the sense to killing grey´s or green´s in the first month of Uthgard.
But play how you think its right...

whats the point about killing greys? what kind of excitment do you feel? is it fun to instakill someone without using any styles and get absolutly no reward for that? whats the point?
trying to find a logical, non emotional, reason for taking/wasting the time to roam different places all over the FZ just to kill lvling folks and get no rps, no gold, no benefit at all for this. it only costs you time, your lifetime, and you get nothing.
whats the point.. do people really have nothing else to do in their lifes?

One of my fondest DAoC memories was leveling with a low-level group in the frontier zone, and then getting killed by a scout, one after another.

Without this grey killer, I wouldn’t remember it more than 15 years later.

This grey killer provided a service, for which I’m very thankful -- giving me a great experience.

Asking players to stop killing greys would prevent all the possible victims from experiencing this, too.

We grey victims had the fun back then, but now the greys shouldn’t have it anymore? Just because it takes time to travel to foreign frontiers, luck to not get killed, effort to find greys, mental strain to kill those that are weaker than you, and all this without getting a reward? This would be selfish. The reward is the victim’s experience! I’m thankful for those players that do this hard job.

Players, there are many greys out there longing to get killed! Please help creating treasured memories for them.

I got killed while leveling and while in the middle of a pull. It was a free trip to selling. Much better death then if they had just helped the mob I pulled kill me. After I was killed I got tells asking the location from high level Albs. They came and went hunting. Same thing that has gone on since the release of the original game. I do not see any issue here.
