Sup, it's me Drastic. Too many toons to list... but I started playing DAOC 2 weeks after release in 2001 on Alb/Kay, moved to Mordred when it opened and became an absolute DAOC junkie. I took a break after several years of Mordred, then played Gareth when it opened for another couple of years.

It's funny how I still remember so many people - friends and enemies - from 10+ years ago in an online computer game... That time seems so surreal looking back I am seriously considering taking some vacation days at work to 8v8 again (on a 15 year old game that I could probably run on my phone nowadays... ****** my sad life)

Start dropping names - I wanna see who else is old as ****** now like me, but is about to ****** themselves with excitement over getting to relive the glory days of DAOC (oh god my sad sad life LOL)

I definitely remember BANDA hahaha! Holy crap, so many fights over the years vs. Dasha and the gang. Funny thing is, I also remember when BANDA was like 3-4 people total, and they were absolutely horrible at PvP. I mean they were the very definition of RP cows. Then they started to figure things out and improved to "minor annoyances." But obviously they stuck it out, got a lot better, and many of you guys earned some impressive RR's. Not sure that I remember you in particular, but there's no doubt we faced off in many 8v8's and good ol' Mordred skirmishes.

BTW Ramo, you'll always be remembered as the guy who introduced me to Super Greg LOL (damn forum won't let me link URLs )

If only uthgard was a 1.65 Mordred

BANDA in the beginning was definitely a pleb guild of Russian buddies before us others joined.

The funny part is by today's standards even we were pretty terrible. Except for maybe Sharl. That kid was the Michael Jackson bonjwa of Dark Age.

Wasnt BANDA the guild that got raped by Free Rps when they gave mordred a shot?

BANDA played for a long time on mordred.

They went through various iterations, some stronger than others.

Free RPs was nothing on mordred until after the population plummeted because wow came out.

Most mordred players ended up on Illidan at wow release, including most of the well known BANDA players.

I miss the pvp servers. Some of the most fun I've ever had on a game before. I played Andred though cause that's where my guild from Merlin (along with most of Merlin in general) went.

Yep, this ^^^ everything here is true (sorry Free RPs bros)

I quit gaming entirely in early 2014 for a while, and I heard a lot of the other BANDA players did as well, and others went to WoW and Lineage II.

I know they tried to make a comeback some time later with little effectiveness. Without their top 2 Clerics, Theurg, Healer, and Shaman, against a player base that had become more competent, I imagine it was quite a disaster.

The original A team had so much support it was hilarious.
