As i was doing my daily check-on-uthgard routine, a question ran through my mind. If you could pull from any of the classes from all 3 realms to assemble an 8-man squad, what classes and specs would you chose?

I never played on Mordred back on live so I have no idea what set-ups people used to run.

I defer to the more knowledgable players on this forum. I am curious to see what you all think and why?

aug-sham pet/heal-druid mind-sorc seems a good start.

dont get me started on this, theres limitless setups... one fun setup we ran on camlann times was cleric healer druid ench eld 2x icewiz sm or 2x ench or 2 eld, cant remember what pbaoe was double... its not a good setup from competetive perspective but it was just hilarious back then in magmell and all the pve zones where alliances and huge guilds used to xp :P

Cleric shaman healer warrior theurg minstrel zerk merc should be pretty much unstoppable with old ras

Minst Merc Theu (Earth/Ice) Cab (Matter/Body) Sorc (Mind/Body) Bd (Red Debuff) Cleric Druid

would be pretty fun to play and no fun at all to fight :D

With new RA´s I would swap out the Cleric for a Healer

old RAs, Shaman(for ichor) or could do anything else u wanted/Cleric(BoF) or even Druid for GP/healer/BD/body sorc/body sorc/minst/(any heavy tank)


Dark SM(red spirit debuff), thuergy(wind)2x, cleric2x, sorc, hero(just for moose so hero can play sloppy), last slot(minstrel, supp sm, 2nd tank, nature druid)

just for fun not for seriousness

full support group, with just shamans healers clerics friars bards wardens druids... only exeptions are for a maybe last slot -> manament, valkyrie, heretic.

hard to play but funniest sh!t u can imagine

All the bots on Camlan were Clerics. And I would agree to them being the best bot all around. Equally valid you can pick all the positions for best stats. You still have to decide for a meta game...

Food for thought:

healer(aug/heal) - base buffs + heal + cele + resists
shaman(aug/cav) - spec buffs + resists + rupts
sorcerer(mind/35body) - cc + s/c debuff + debuff options (cold/heat)
theurgist(35earth/41ice) - rupt + nuke option (cold)
eldricht(45light/28mana) - d/q debuff, ns, pet clear, nuke option (cold/heat)
minstrel/skald - speeder if you must have one, else get a fancy any class here and let your best friends girl friend play the part
hero/arms - brickwall, shield, snares and the remainder of the don't touch me business for the squishies
zerk/svg - keep the constant jabs up to make it through to round 12
