So a question has arisen regarding what was previously known as blue monday (where emain would be zerged by all 3 realms) now is this something that could be feasible again? as opposed to the handful of 8v8 groups which roam out to emain? now im not suggesting that we end the obvious 8v8 fights cause lets be fair thats the good challenge at 50 im just thinking whether this is possible to increase 50 rvr interest as opposed to several FG running thid.

it were blue sundays (see my signature for vids from all these events so far ), actually i am too busy and too lazy atm to organise such.
But i bet a lot of people would enjoy to zerg more frequently, does not even have to be as big as the blue sunday events. just a regular zerg (3+ fg) you could join and leave at any time would be awesome, and help people getting started and get addicted to rvr.

All that is missing is someone that leads.

Though I don't generally approve of zerging, I also like zerg fights if they are more or less balanced and its not like 7fg vs 3fg vs 2fg.

I'm rarely online at the prime times, but why don't you try to establish some sort of weekly zerg. Like one day per week, let's say like wednesday or something (or pick weekend? will ruin some weekend-only-player's 8v8 world though), there's a zerg building in each realm and the target zone is emain. It'll be hard to start this, as people will say "oh, I'm not the zerging kind of player". But after some time and with a little perseverance this may turn out very well. If there's no enemies: raid keeps. There'll form counter zergs as soon as word is out that 3+fg of a certain realm are roaming.

However, you need someone to start this in each realm. Someone who's rather well known (like kelodiran, cruell/griselda and holsten, to give some examples). After 3-4 weeks of this there might be co-leaders, who handle this when the other leaders aren't available

i don't even think you need to be well known to start this, at least in midgard it is most of the time enough to ask people to join your bg if they want to do rvr.
The first weeks may be a bit slow and tough to get it rolling, but eventually some people have fun and spread the word. and soon you will get asked by hundreds of people everytime you are on at what time todays zerg event starts.





Then comes the time where you can't even log in ano without being hassled by all this people. Then it does not take long until you can't log in without the drugs, you started to take to stand all this pressure. You lose your job, your wife, your children, your home... but you had a lot of fun and felt very important for a short time in your life.

Well im going to look to start this up shortly in midgard might look for this weekend and then look for a secondary on the weekday,

im in midgard so i can sort that side out, (not that well known on server but still shouldnt be an issue been speaking to some players regarding it soo far and seems the interest is there) once people imagine what old live was like in emain where the zerg was more of an invitation to all players including lower realm rank to actually participate in the otherwise hard as nails 8v8's

i need some names of people who going to be interested in helping organise this on alb/hib (if not ill be rolling out level 1 chars and organising it that way then logging onto mid once its established)

the problem is not mid but the other realms - haven't RvRed that much lately, especially not at primetime, but usually its like 2-3 fga out, which run as 8men...hib is like 1-2fg, running 8men....mid usually there's at least 4 fg out, and at max 1 runs 8men...the problem is getting a zerg in alb and even more difficult in (so i heard)...good luck doing this in mid and then being bored due to lack of enemy zergs

I guess the main problem to get enough people on alb is that most of the people who do 8vs8 do not want to fight zerg vs zerg because its not as funny as a 8vs8.
I do like to fight in a zerg against an other (equally strong) zerg but i could never do it more often than 1x a month, because its just boring as hell most of the time ^^
