Cool Topic, totally senseless. It´s allowed see below. Yeah its kinda stupid that lot of people do, but you can´t change it.

§3.9 Greykilling
The killing of realm enemies that are coloured grey for the killing character (and therefore are way below his level and do not give any experience, realm points or kill stats) is explicitly not forbidden. It will not result in any punishments against the killing player. Players with low level characters move into a RvR zones at their own risk and have to accept the danger of being killed.

Anyway if Grey´s count for Mission / Title and give RP´s :D, everyone will gank them. So go on and level fast, or don´t level in frontier Zones / DF / RvR Dungeons !

There is a reason Frontier Zones have an XP Bonus.

basically i'm against grey ganking too, but I bump the grey-kill-should-be-worth-RP-thread for a reason:

if greys give RPs the activity in the frontiers will increase...grey will still level their, as the bonus is just much too good to be left out, but players will try to find grey gankers...like alb duos or trios or solos might roam alb frontiers, especially the exp spots, to kill enemy grey gankers...

sure, this might backfire and frontier-levelling may die completely but only for low levels...at 36+ people will see no difference...

and yes, grey ganking is for people with no desire for a challenge :)

I generally avoid grey ganking unless they add in a fight. I also generally avoid zerging solo's/duo's with an 8 man, but it happened to me twice last night. I have no problem with someone else doing it, i just chose not to. It served a purpose. It removed the enemy from the frontier (Me), and i got to watch a movie :D . It doesnt matter if you are 15 or 50, If people want to give you grief and you are in an rvr zone, then they can.

More times than not, its the enemy creating spam in the frontier zone/rvr dungeon. The spam is noticed by others and the intended result is creating action (i.e. "Let's go kill whoever killed those greys!")

Also, It has been mentioned that some people grey gank to encourage the greys to bring out their higher level toons (they may or not have a higher level toon)

lordgriffon wrote:Oh by the way... ever seen a group of 8 smite clerics? Or play against a group like that? I have. Absolute devastation. The group that runs up against them can't kill them fast enough because smite clerics have sooooooo many tools at their disposal combined with decent ranged damage with 8 of them dudes doing it!
