I want to say really thank you Midgard!

You started tasking and keepraid groups and then it led to a daily zerg for 2 month.

Many ppl flammed. They said the server would die. Ofc as we can see now they were not right.
The server has for 1 Week 8xx ppl (primetime) online. I dont know when I saw that the last time.

The midgard rvr player number raised so much. For 2 weeks even the rvr player number of the albs increased very strong.

Now we have every day 5-6 differend fga out there. They do not always zerg but I have never seen so many puc fga for 2 years. Now I am able to find easy rvr groups as alb.

I saw a 4fgh zerg today too, I hope they will also increase their rvr player numbers like albion and midgard.

More players, more rvr action, more rvr players and when u have a look on df you will also see, its not 24/day Midgard anymore.

So thank you, tank you. Now its fun again!

but... the server is dead and midgard is to blame everyone is telling in the forum.

I always said all that is needed is a zergleader that has fun to do this in every realm. I am glad that besorger/Schwarze legion/Walgrinds Wächter established the daily zerg in midgard. Now all we need is the same in alb and hib... but we are on a good way.

the only thing we contributed to the situation is our red is dead and don't flame adders playstile, which gave some mid pug grps the chance to win at least some fights every evening.

All players should reroll on Midgard to improve the overall quality of Uthgard's RvR !

though not very active at the moment i usually check forums every evening and its amazing to see 700+ players most of the days...even earlier its 500+ often, which wasn't there some time back...

it was not mid, that saved the server, it was the keep-rp-bonus and stuff...mid was only the first realm to massively use it, which lead to albs trying to counter that...never seen any hib zerg but that'll come too i guess

on live (lyonesse) it's always been like that:

mid was zerg realm, hib was 8v8-rvr-realm, alb was pve-realm...when albs decided to go rvr sometimes, alb zerg was usually biggest but not best (e.g. 40 mids/hibs could easily beat 50 albs).

seems like it's the same way on this server...weird

however, nice to see the server prospering again

Funny, I have made similar experiences, except maybe for the quality of the midzerg being higher than the rest.

Also, maybe a little OT, I just remembered what a friend of mine told me, to help me pick a realm, when I started the daoc beta (he started a few days before I did):
- hibernia is full of hippies, people that like roll play, strive for world peace, vote green, without hygiene and spine.
- albion is the grey mass that can't decide what to play, but they are many.
- midgard is usually played by retards and morons that want to destroy everything.
Now that proved to be more or less true and I play Midgard continously for more than 10 years .

I heard almost the same of my friend, as i started DAoC beta ^^
I was just hearing "without hygiene" about mid, not about hib and tbh - it fits better for mid (dont count firbys! there are not that many here)

I heard (before I joined Beta) that only children play Albion because they want to be a Knight and they zerg , Hibernia is a Realm of gays/girlys because its all green and because of the elves xD Midgard is the evil realm without hygiene ^^

Therefore I went to Albion because I was a child 15-16. Then I came into the "Bad guy periode" which is not even now finished so Iam mid for 10 Years xD But we mids are not dirty and we do not stink! My Troll takes every day a shower! in the blood of my enemies aaaaand we are not evil we only want to bring Albion and Hibernia Peace, we call it " Pax Midgard ". But they do not want our blue peace =(

EVen thou I agree with some here that it isn't fully Midgards credit, I have to say there is a point.
And all the ncie fighters, all the whiners and anti zerg flamers can say what they want.

Imho grps like Besorger, sometimes Nightwatch and DG are senseless zergers from a 8vs8 point of view.
But they are the ones who keep the server alive! They are the ones who bring new players!
If some guys here would fulfill their idiotic dream of pure 8vs8 duels there would be the same picture EVERY evening. 1 or 2 grps of every realm fighting a stupid incest fight.
I dislike it some times when I get added in 8vs8. I hate it when I'm steamrolled by fg or zerg while soling. But in some zergs I stand in the front line, because the mass of players is the reason to play a MMO.

And nothing that you can say will undermine the thruth of this fact.

So thank you adders, zergers and keep raiders for increasing the amount of people playing here!
