Hej guys,
since a lot of ppl enjoyed the keep raiding during the weekend I guess most of you want to continue this. Since it is pretty worthless raiding low lvl claimed keeps atm here is the deal.
Always set your keeps to lvl 4 it doesnt cost you more BP but will reward the raiders for 4x the RPs. So if everyone does it, everyone gets more RP and is motivated to come again and again. If you set it to lvl1 maybe there will be less ppl fighting back and action disappears.
Requiem keep is always Lvl9, so get out and get your RPs :twisted:
The command should be /gc upgrade 4

Ok then do it to make keep raids harder with stronger enemies and help your realm!

U dont help ur enemy, if u upgrade ur keep to lvl4 or higher, cause the guards and the lord are way harder to kill.
U help ur enemy, if u don't upgrade it or even don't claim a keep. :wink:

well there is a good and bad side to claiming the keeps.

the bad side is if no one claims and upgrades then the rvr action will slow down.

the good side is that the way it is now if a smaller realm is under a lot of pressure they can slow this pressure down by simply retaking keeps and not claiming.

it is very important for a smaller realm to have a way to defend itself against a larger realm in Live you had the mile gates with doors which allowed a smaller realm to defend against larger numbers and stop the pressure.

all in all the recent RvR action has been great and I am very pleased to see it.

I havent been on to experience this new change yet, but from what I have read the only problem I have seen was that now people just dont claim keeps as a deterrant since people wont take it since the rp total isnt high enough. I would agree with what Sturlek and some others have said that once they implement a keep defense bonus or whatever then this problem will solve itself. Remember guys and gals, this is a new change. It will take a little time to really see the issues with it and make changes to make it work right.

- Change: Small RP/BP bonus for defending a keep which is owned by your realm
+3% RP/BP if the keep belongs to your guild
+2% RP/BP if the keep belongs to your alliance
+1% RP/BP if the keep belongs to your realm

so its like an area affect around the keep? or what is ment by +3% ?
i mean it could also be that every second you stand inside a keep you get 3% of your current realmpoints :D but unlikely on uth :P
