New porters ?

Why on the news porters there is only the possibility to port to Ennemies frontier ? Mid and alb i can understand, but hib ask for year for a port to bolg, and the only possibility us to port to hw or og for 100g. Why dont have implement the port to bolg in the same time ?

Be patient we will think about it as that requires some keep checks. Theres no medallion at the moment which Hibs could use to port to Emain.

Hey Blue would like to know your thinking behind this, why do the porters cost 100g? don't need to answer if you don't want to just curious ^^

The idea for such a npc was developed in the player council. First of all, its about having options. If you missed the port and the rest of your group ported you have a new option to get around the standard ceremony and don't block your group for a too long time. You should see it similar to a taxi if you missed the bus or if you happen to just have the money, well then you can use it as often as you are able. Primarily that side way port is meant to be used in emergency cases where time matters to you a lot. The price on that feature aims at a luxury option that should not be the standard to use. We will measure how many use it over time. The target for it is a fraction of all ported players. It's done when it's done. Thanks for your patience.

i really don't see anything bad in this new option... u can use it but no one force you to do. As blue stated it is primary supposed for the situations where one missed the port and 7 people would have to wait for the one person to reduce the timesink.

Nice for albs and mids if they are afk and forgot necklace or if they just barely missed the second port. Good custom change imo.
A bit offtopic but I have a suggestion for another custom feature to help the players. How about implementing the ability to group up potions in stacks? like maybe up to 10 or 100 in each stack? Would be great imo.  |

No, it's a custom solution.
It's made for the situation, when the group has to wait for just one person that missed the port. You can wait 7 minutes, or you can spend 100g to get your groupmate to you immediately. Maybe you want to share the costs in your group, thats up to you. |
