Banned Zubasa and all his known accounts for 7 days.

Reason: §2.4, please note, relogging into different realms just to farm enemys will not be tolerated. make sure to have at least 30 min between your loggs if you want to go into the same zone again.

This ban is 2 years old and i cant find that rule.. i noticed that some ppl relogging into different realms to flame, check action in emain and farm enemies. Are we allowed to do that?

No that is not allowed, but not banned in every case as its difficult to proof it.

in most cases i get the strange feeling that gm's doesn't want to proove it... i reported thousands of such things happen, sometimes talked with gm, sometimes obviously there was no gm...the zubasa ban was initiatet from me too..they logged every realm early in the morning as duo farming whats out hib/mid/alb, and this lasts over 1 hour, until something happened...i think its very sad, and yes


i hate x-realming

(and yes, what i'm talking about is this emain login from every realm, within few minutes, not to xp lvl 10 char in spraggon den, or whatsoever)

As it was said it can't be easily proven by GM's. It takes some time to crawl through logs and get it nailed. There are plenty of gm calls per hour so not in call cases a GM will react or is even available.

you get a call...go there, ask questions ( if interested) slightly different to this other bannable stuff

I dont see anything bad to relog in another realm if there is no action cuz every ppl that are in emain are actually in our realm

and thats what is totally wrong on this server...talked recently with a very "prominent" albion player why he doesnt attack other very prominent hib-players, he answered cause there are in my alb-guild, also he said theres always someone in your group that tell, dont kill him, dont kill her, i know her from realm x/y....


wow thats how rvr should be, sorry i dont have much in common with that behaviour

That people relog to an other realm because there are to many of the own realm is total common here.
Happens nearly daily. Also it happens sometime that a guildgrp see's there is no action-> complete relog on the other realm.

That people tell each other where to meet and fight via IRC or Uthgard TS is also total common.
If you play a guildgrp/pug you get every rvr evening lots of messages like "nice fight, meet again HW" "we come again, you'll be there?" and so on and so on.

This does happen alot and alltho I think most of it is done in a way to try and promote action in RvR I believe it certainly does get abused alot. It wasnt that long ago that I had a certain high RR sb log over to Hib to flame me for playing a noob class as well as other things. In his post, which I screen shot, he even says who his SB char is. You know what he got for punishment? He got his Hib account banned for 3 days. The account that he NEVER plays. Meanwhile he is able to log in his SB and continue playing. On top of that, I reported it about 2-3 times and got no reply and it wasnt until I had Austerim contact Abydos through IRC that I even got a reply. I do find that depending on who you are depends alot on the response time you have with the GM's.

Another example of this: This was about 1 year ago. There was a Hib player that kept killing the same Alb player over, and over, and over, again. Me and 2 guildies were camping AMG so we knew it had to be on Alb side of AMG. We looked and looked while keeping 1 person at AMG to make sure they didnt come threw. We finally found them and it was blatant RP farming. Myself, Goodorbad, AND Idiap all reported him for this. We never heard a thing back. The next night same exact thing. We all 3 report it and hear nothing back. 2 nights later Austerim is with us, and it happens again. Austerim reports it and 5 minutes later both chars are banned and Austerim gets a big thank you. I shouldnt have to be in IRC in order to report a problem to a gm.

Sorry, I didnt want this to come off as an attack on GM's, but it does get frustrating when you try and report problems, get no help or response, then you have another player do it and get instant results.

This post shows exactly, that you have not a single clue about, what this behaviour does/did to Uthgard, Live-Servers after Cluster, Uth-Community and DAoC over all.

Go back into game and live your flower power life and keep such posts out of this topic.

i never had much problems on uth to play my desired 8v8 playstyle so what are you complaining about atm?
@ ronevlu on the left there is a button called IRC you can click on it and connect to #uthgard the irc channel of uthgard sometimes its better to report there as there are thousands of calls ig every day
