There are named guards in the home portal keep of each realm (Sauvage, Ligen, Svasud) that give you those missions.
You can either choose "reconnoiter" missions (i.e., running around a keep specified by the taskgiver), "realmguard" missions (i.e., kill a certain amount of realmguards of a specified realm) or "enemies of the realm" missions (i.e., kill a certain amount of players of the specified realm). The missions including "killing" are either 5 kills if you are solo or 20 kills if you are grouped. Note that there are no "enemies of the realm" missions for solo players!! |

ah ok thanks a ot mate!
That mission gives RP as reward? or only experience and gold? and can be done (especially the "scout" mission) by a lvl 43 skald/43 shaman duo? ![]() |

Guard missions give 1250 rps at 50 and recon missions give like 150-200 I think? A bit less at 43 of course. The guard missions are good gold and exp, haven't done enough recon missions to know if they're any good or not.
[3:10pm] <myrmidon^> You have to be a c*** to be awesome at daoc
[3:10pm] <myrmidon^> that's what I learnt [3:11pm] <Frosty_> then why does austerim suck

As a level 43 skald/shaman duo you shouldn't really bother with these guard tasks as you will still be way below rr4l2 which is the cap for Thidranki (lvl 44-49) Battlegrounds, in this battleground both the exp and gold rewards are great! As well as lots and lots of fun, in my opinion it is the most fun part of Uthgard atm. Very fast paced action where you get RPs and exp faster than anywhere else on the server!....
Dont waste your time on guard tasks.. wait till 48ish and enjoy Thidranki (lots)! |
