This basicly means you can't let people live anymore? Imagine I pass Weia for instance and just do /wave, I'm violating that rule? Or is it from the moment we run in the same direction without harming eachother...? |

hahahaha
greys shall be ganked by rule. solos shall be zerged by rule. this rule is new, or is it old and no one noticed yet? <img src="http://herald.uthgard-server.net/daoc/sig.php?name=Bix&s=7">

think it's new, some guys got banned for sitting in odins and not just ganking each other 2 weeks ago anyways

It kinda looks like it does indeed come down to this. ![]() |

I decide what to kill in this game, no rule should tell me otherwise

red is dead... every one dies, it's rvr not pvp and greys should stay in safe zone if they don't want to be ganked. that's the rule and i will follow it to the end.

But that should be a personal choice, within reason. I've been cross-realmed before. And when I say cross-realm I mean the Alb and the Hib /cheered and /danced after they teamed up on me. It sucked. But that is an extreme case. If people choose not to attack then that is their choice. I don't like to kill grays because it's lame, but also because it resets the timer on my camouflage and leaves me vulnerable to attack from real enemies. It's a tactical choice. GMs should not dictate player tactics. Especially not with bans.

Ya, I've rarely ever killed greys (only 1 outside of them attacking me/group) or pve'ers (green+) outside DF when I can't find people to fight me and they own it lol. But like Seyha said, it's lame. So if I get banned for choosing who to fight when they will not attack me either then I guess I get banned for playing how I want without any harm to anything in game/anyone.

My personal question to those honored palyers is: why would you let run any enemy, if you can have clean 1v1 on him? The rule doesnt say you need to add on anything, but fight it initially without stupid duel rules. After all, not every class is made for to /bow each fight and not having the initiative strike(s) if it wants a proper chance to win. If you dont want to fight a specific enemy, what is your idea of playing DAoC at all? This is no RPG server, but no second life as well: do what you are expect to do regarding PvP. As easy as it gets.
Rule just says dont establish some stupid duel events, that create an atmosphere of a non attack agreement forced on any participate. And if you didnt follow, you were the moron to ALL realms (two of them effectively combine forces against you if you break that duel rules, whilst the realm mates offer no help or support). |

I made a thread about it also but got locked : http://uthgard-server.net/modules.php?n ... ic&t=17097 Those ppl fought in emain btw..indeed the choice should be ours .
This "red is dead" policy of yours shows what character you have , some ppl respect one to another on this server and will not add and will not gank another player ,even if beeing an enemy... if they respect him...i hope u dont play mid:P. hmm this means, that 3 realm fights are no longer permitted, since u are cooperating with 1 realm in any case. So if u see 2 realm fighting together turn blind eye while they fight and go fight the winner after that.
ps. and u still can have tea partys |

Well so many crazy ideas i see here, this a rule on server and DAOC
RED=DEAD its easy ^^ |
|
This rule is old ....

The people got unbanned by the GM. The GM missunderstood the situation and acted too fast. There is no rule that forces you to attack people of the other realm.
Though, if we experience rp farming we will punish this with a ban and depending on the case with rp decrease. |

Thx for the clarification. |
