Well, I've capped out of Wilton and I'm now trying to justify the time spent grinding to 49. From my experience so far: I enjoy the game, the server and my class, but the population imbalances make it very difficult to find the kind of fights that make DAoC a great game. Albs/Hibs (especially the latter) were having problems making proper groups and there were always Mids adding on my side. There were some solid Alb and Hib groups, but they were a rare find. I'd like to think that thid/emain will be different, but I somewhat doubt this to be the case.

battlegrounds really arent an indicator of anything..

some people have sc others dont, some people can play others can't

The issue wasn't gear or skill, so much as population. My gear sucks and I've been running in PUGs, but there was rarely challenge simply because we just about always outnumbered the enemies (not always, though!).

From what I read on the part of Albs and especially Hibs, there seems to at least be correlation between this issue in the BGs and in emain. I somewhat doubt that in emain there will be balance between alb/hib/mid populations, but hopefully I'm wrong.

To simply state that I can't extrapolate from my BG experiences is unhelpful.

He is concerned about the population (e.g. finding fights without endless roaming).

there isn't a balance, but its mainly to do with community

yesterday evening in Emain = Alb vs Hib mainly

other evenings in Emain = Alb vs Mid mainly

swings and roundabouts

however the hib/alb grps die easier and so its harder to get them to keep coming back :P

Just don't play North American time slots :/

We ran around for 2 hours in emain with our 5. Killed 3 mids and Wolkes 3 man alb group (was two man at first) twice. then nothing. So we took Crauch back. Fun.

Wolke, if you read this, you are a friggin beat of a cleric. RR11 and well played = scary :p

BG do not represent anything because people in bg are maintly reroll.

I explain: If your realm have DF, and the keep bg of your level (exemple Braemar) you will go xp ^^ so they will by few mid.

And, Because most of the people are reroll, they (like me) probably use /who braemar before log a char. If i saw 2 ennemy on braemar, i will not relog braemar because i suppose that they have few ennemy to inc. If i saw 10 man on braemar i maybe will relog. Thats made an effect of Circle. Last effect, time, days of the week, hours in the days. all affect the number of player online, on vault (Dr or not, Relic raid or not ....)

Conclusion: Go on emain ^^ We need some inc ^^

Emain is where its all at, and the RvR balance there changes all the time. For example, Hibs seemed to have made a comback, I dont know how because I havent been playing much but theres alot more in the LWRP list.

And less albs, I wonder why! (

You gave the answer yourself!

Hib has made a comeback because you haven't been playing much. ;)
