Idon't understand sometimes, how do stealth works.
My infi has detect hidden ability and mos3. I can see other assasin classes from very short range (normal range), because it's "detect hidden classes when they detect hidden classes", it's because of Detect Hidden ability". But i don't understand how do stealth classes with mos, but without Detect Hidden (hunter, ranger) can see me from long range. They don't have Detect Hidden, but they do see me from longer range than i see other "detect hidden" classes. |

Basicly all Detect hidden does is make assasins not allowed to detect each other, then at default range, which is like 125 units or so. Even if they have MoS. It also allows assasins to have extra detect range vs non assasins, unless they have camo up for archers, which degates MoS and detect hidden bonuses. But while camo is down, it allows an assasin to detect at base detect range + bonus from Detect Hidden + MoS, giving assasins great detect range vs non assasins , who dont have camo up. Detect Hidden does not give the assasin extra bonus of not being detected, unless in the case when its vs another assasin with detect hidden also. Which as said in that case, both cant detect each other, exept at default range. So..
Assasin detecting Assasin = Default Range vs Enemy Assasin detecting non Assasin (camo down/no camo) = Defualt Range + Detect Hidden Bonus Range + MoS Assasin detecting non Assasin (camo up) = Defualt Range Only Non Assasin detecting Assasin = Default Range + MoS bonus So for an assasin, MoS is only for movement speed and detecting non assasins , who do not have camo up. Now when an archer has camo up, he will sneak up on you much better if your an assasin, but the trade off is , is when camo is down the assasin has greater stealth detection, depending on MoS level vs the archers MoS level. When camo is down, a archer with MoS 3, would prob have about the same detection as the assasin coming up on him with MoS 2 because of his detect hidden bonus. That is why alot of assasins may stop at MoS 2, while archers normaly stop at MoS 3 or 4. |
