Hi, i have a question (don't know if someone asked before).
I remember on the live u didn't take rps by dead. Example : ME] ---> Inc norseman NORSEMAN] ---> kills me SOMEONEELSE] ---> Kills norseman ME] ---> I don't take rp from this kill (because im dead) On this server everyone takes rp even if they are dead, it means that most of the ppl will remain "wannabe" for a very long time because ":DDDD Im taking rps with my face close to the ground". I don't know if on live it has changed, explain me pls. Holavez |

This system on Uthgard makes more sense. It´s nice to get some rp if you loose a fight. Pls dont change things that are better here than on liveservers. We already lost the Speed while porting...has been not livelike either but was a better thing that livelike. Now everybody has to cast speed after porting...thats bad ![]() Make senseful changes...dont loose the good things here. ![]() |

You take rps for the amount of damage youve dealt.
Example: i fight 1vs2, and get owned, but i manage to get both of them down to 20%. They laught because they killed me and a second later they get owned by FG. Thats the way it is, theres always a bigger fish around, FG laughs and gets owned by a zerg, etc... I do get about half of the rps from FG rolling over the duo because i damaged em. Thats the way it works on uthgard to prevent xp and rps leeching that occured quite often in the past. |

the thing i wonder about is: why its like this on live? it was always like this? , i dont remember, but on live i never waited dead to see my killers dying , either cause i didnt care about rps but cared about fun or cause you didnt get rps ;P maybe that change would change some players attitude maybe stealther zergs popularity would decrease a lot (no one wants to inc first , cause he knows he ll die first , wont gain rps , the sense for many players to play in stealther zergs (gain rps) would just be missing) just bad for 2 assasins double K.O.ing each other while fighting 1vs1 or bad for the one that dies first ;P you re playing stealther zergs to not get outnumbered ? you re playing stealther zergs to at least gain the rps you dealt with dmg? or is it really fun? is it fun to have 8vs8 or even zerg fights as visible classes without support chars too? hell NO thats why i had the idea it could change some players attitude and stealthers spread out all over the rvr zone *dreaming* maybe stealthers would even add more to assure rps raising (just waiting for a fight and add only) so maybe it would just be bad ;P |

On live you gain rps dead too, loong time ago it was changed (LOONG) ^^

It was changed long time ago, but not "long" in terms of DAoC history

So why should i not get rps if my enemy dies by MY poisoning 0.5 seconds after i die?

Well, till some patch that i dont remember, if you die you didnt get any rps, but was unfair usually to caster class that are the frst targets on rvr, later they added the rps gain on death , not was the full benefit if rps but something are something |
