i"m concerned with new patch (08.1, 2010)
= pach note ; horse route for speedless players to enter battle zone
and shorten timer for teleport

what do you think the fall of DAOC result in?
i think it is more easy and convience regardless of principle of DAOC
for example ,why fell daoc since toa version start, think it yourself
i think this patch will be starting point to destory fundamental principle of uthgard
with such context, if not many people wanna play buff bot or two client at a onece to prohibt this sever just more easy and convience,it will be to give up principle of uthgard?
uthgard is not minority anymore..just for stealther and solo
i think problem for uthgard is too many stealthers and small normal to hard make up normal grp if not peck time
so this patch is for stealther and solo therefore big problem will result in
this patch will be too hard make up nomal grp more and more because many users will rasie up stealther more
and will result in narrowing a battle zone like NF though user is increasing in uthgard . later ,it will be big problem

we have to think why do we play here(classic version)
although some inconvience and not easy, i like to play classic version like OF , of course OF and classic is many inconvience but so it attacts me

erm, people will roll stealthers and xp to 50 because they can jump on a horse and probably get pwnd en-route to bolg? think not mate! :D

ontopic to play a stealther its ur power to atack from the shadows...

i havent problem with fights i get pa't and then maybe i lose ....

problem is people reroll a stealther cuz they say rvr sucks.. ofc it sucks but if u dont come u never change a ****** ..

10 people with same mind on amg .. roflmao u go there and get pa't from 10 grouped or solo infis cuz their to lazy to move they asses from amg ?

and i dont speak about primetime... =)

i charged some days with rastah amg with 2 bms u can have ur d00m fun
to be a stealther its just lame and antisocial

logged sometimes a stealther from friends.. just to see 10-12 red names waiting there.... thats not the spirit of beeing a assasin..

and i dont speak for every stealer just for the usuals..

problem isn't horse routes or "too many stealthers" problem is the mentality of those who are 50 visible and doing rvr

until they start accepting zergs and bad grp setups nothing will change in regards of the issue of finding rvr players

has always been the solution by visible players somehow.. this isn't a valid solution though as stealthers play a big role in the rvr scene for a few reasons


1. rvr intel
2. capturing keeps and securing the wall is free
3. picking off solo - duos moving to the keeps/zerg


more could prolly be added but I won't sit here and make a big list :)

Wtf are you talking about? How long have you played here?

If it didn't "fall" when we had instaports it sure as hell isn't going to "fall" becouse of a one minute shorter port and a hourseroute.

In fact we still need some measure to bring solo/smallman anywhere near it was before OF.

Going totally offtopic here but I only see 1. happening. 2. I've yet to see and 3. hm? Any visible can do that?

The reason I'd like to stealthers removed is not because of the class but because of the people playing them. 80% of the rps is by leeching off other peoples fight. Few examples. Yesterday I saw an SB and infi /bowing each to duel, while fighting pop pop 2 infis unstealth and sprint to the battle to get their 100rps. Few days earlier we're chasing a fg, some infil unstealths and sprints to keep up with us so he can leech of the fight. -EVERY- fight between amg and atk you are guaranteed atleast 1 or 2 stealthers adding. There might be exceptions but in general they're just utterly lame.

and visible characters don't have "bad" players? I could name a few who does exactly the same thing to other visible chars / stealthers

should all grp lead classes be deleted too because they chase down solos from 1 zone to another just for 100 rps?

your logic is flawed imo

blame the players, not the class

bad players will be there no matter what classes you have / don't have (was kinda my point in previous post, sorry if it wasn't clear)
