Does this exist on Uthgard? I know, it is allowed to play in more than one Realm but also to relog on his 50 on other Realms and gank lowbies and turn back? Even if you are in the same alliance? They laugh at me, when i say that.

We all know that Hibernia and Albion works together.
For example, yesterday i 1on1 a paladin, got ganked by a Mentalist and they bowed each other and gone their ways. Today i was ganked by a Saracen which was one of my own allies (not anymore) i saved before from a minstrel. This dont make much fun at all.

So my question is: Does Realm Pride exists on Uthgard?

What do you think?

In this moment i think no, people just log on all three realms, gank each other and come back to laugh/insult you. It's hard to play with such mentality i experienced the last weeks.

Please let me know what you think about this situation and also keep this post clean from insults/flames and advices like "It's your fault!".

i can only speak for myself, i played all classes and realms on live servers but here on uthgard i play albion since i started here, raised some chars and yet didnt get a mid or hib toon higher than lvl 10 or so.. because yes i still think it is a basic of the game to fight for one realm and not for 2 or more

realm cooperation is forbidden:

§2.5 You may not cooperate with other realms in RvR. The realms are meant to have war. However if it is indispensable to fight each others in an equal manner (3 players of different realms fighting each other), there is no problem. As soon as groups of different realms organize their RvR together, it becomes a rule violation.

so if u have enought proof then u can try sending to a GM

no he can't. that was no organized RvR.
If I choose to help some Hib kill a few Mids, that's my choice. You can't ban me for that.

You should keep that in mind. Also do not forget that it is not you that got killed by another person but that the char you were playing in the given moment was killed by a char from an enemy realm being played by another person. Hence it is not the person that played the enemy char that it is your alliance but its chars.

I myself stick to Hibernia only because I love playing (sic!) there. Never forget: DAoC is only a game that consists of nothing more than some information saved on some harddisks. That's all and to my mind it is ridiculous to be proud of some special bytes.

as i said if he have enought proofs, one time being merciful can be ok, but if u help the enemies often and he can prove it... well then let someone from the staff decide

I can help my enemies as much as I damn please. This is a roleplaying game. As long as I don't organize RvR on forums or IRC, I'll stab my realmmates in the back if I want to.

The weirdest x-realm I ever encountered was a Ranger and a Sorc. I found a stealthed Ranger, Crit Shot him out of stealth, and we started to fight. A nearby Sorc mezzed both of us (no surprise there). The Sorc ran to the Ranger, hit him with her staff to break mezz, and then the two of them double-teamed me.

I do have some realm pride but I also have something called solo pride/honor

and many see that as anti realm pride

however my home will always be in Hibernia

First of all my exmaple of a paladin and a mentalist wasn't the first time i experienced Realms vs. Realm. Secondly, i also have another account on another Realm but i would not imagine wheni read that my alliance member run in Darkness falls, i just change the realm to gank him because i need realmpoints and have not enough skills to fight real enemies.

My problem is not the fact, to be able to play multiple accounts, my problem is the mentality, that many players show. On live, you have to pay for extra accounts if you wanna change the realm. While you have to pay more to get more accounts, you also have a delay when you can switch them (which will hopefully come soon). Live would not implement such things if everyone fight for his Realm and do not spy operations or something like that.

Maybe because of this problems Warhammer Online got only two Realms like wow or something.

Anway, in my opinion playing a Realm means live, fight and die for it. Morale still has some value for me.

Just speaking for DG we do have a realm pride. Some of us also play alb or hib, but i will insta kick anyone from guild who tells about planed reli raids or have any kind of arrangement against midgard.

Midgard could really need some more patriotism, maybe then we would be able to hold relis longer than 1 week, hib on the other hand does a really good job on deffing they'r relis

Since Mcpain ganks all greys in DF, it is getting a basic rule to kill all greys. If DF switches u can be sure to die within 10minutes if you are grey. There are people who only go DF to do so, killing greys.

Zubasa is doing this since he started to play, running FG, kill everything, especially solos, small groups, greys. now he succesfully reached rr11 after alot solos

since ive started to participate in DF hunting, i let the greys live and looked for someone my size. if we engaged however, all the greys in the area always added.
if you fight someone you could win with 50% hp left but are jumped on by 20 char lvl 20-35 you WILL get in trouble and most likelly die.

i tried to not killing grey policy for a while and personally, if im on a group i dont care about them since most grey wont attack a FG without masively superior numbers.
if i solo, i take out everything that is not from my realm since they WILL get me killed in the end.

as for the crossrealming, you will never get a 100% conclusion on that topic.
there are just as many forms as x-realming as there are x-realmers.

to use it as holiday location. change of scenery.
some have friends/guilds in all realms and just like to stay in contact with them.
some switch realms if they see that one realm is just overly present and the other sides feature none to get a group started.
some use it to rally a relic defense with a head start.

no matter how you decide in the end, you WILL ****** quite a few people off because they will consider it unjust.
their are plenty of ways to relay rvr critical information, IM, IRC, PM, phone etc.
even if you disable al+tab so they cant switch out easiely, it still wont be able to prevent anthying since quite some players run a seconday screan which they can use for messaging systems.
