It's hell slow. Altough Uthgard tends to be more and more classic (fact i like); this feature should be adjusted to server population.

Havent tested OF myself yet but they actualy left it @ 10 min ?

In my opinion for uth population should be 4-5 min no more. Or better remove timer and only use necklase for port :D

No, it's currently at 8 minutes, as said in the information thread. However, I do believe 6 minutes would be a better solution. I wouldn't go much lower than 6 or 5 minimum. Removing the timer would not be a good idea I think.

Also, it might be a good idea to implement a horse route from DL to the area near Dun Bolg for instance. This horse would drop you off the moment you are in combat so that it will be faster, but at a risk of being route-ganked. Not to mention it might even be worthwile to camp routecampers. :P

At the moment, for soloers without speed it's taking quite long.



In the end, I think we need some more evaluation on how to exactly finetune this but I think the request to lower the timers slightly is in place.

I´m agree horse routes would be nice. And the timer should be short. Yesterday my group killed some infis near atk in emain, they just ported and were killed and must wait other 8 mins again. For soloer is hell and he will play 3 mins in frontiers during 30 mins, he log off or go BGs after 2-3 wipes.

I knew such discussion will start. Currently we use 8 min timers which are nearly half the time of live servers in classic times. If you miss one port you must wait this time. This is the worst case. Mostly you will not wait the full duration.

The timer balances Hibernias way to Emain and sends our players in waves which causes different gameplay and improves the community for a realm. Btw if you get resurrected you don't have to wait the portal times. :)

Well, healer 5L FTW right now, as u *want* to say Blue.

And i'm really ok too, 8minutes is very very big when u have miss the TP.

I think 4 mn should be a good deal.

I think 8 minutes is slightly too long. 3 ~ 5 minutes would be much better.

Defiantly too long IMO, non-stealth soloers who get ganked regularly will go crazy.

Alb and Midneed 8 minutes to port and they´re near the hotspots around the mgs
Hib needs around 10mins to arrive per pedes Emain Macha.

-> How can Hib defend their areas when it have to walk and wait longer than the enemies:)

(ónly negative aspect)

P.S.: dont know how it works in hadrian or odin

Why you cry now? is not like you asked for OF? the port duration is at half like Blue stated. Lets keep it this way.

All I ever see you post is: Stop whining/QQ, stfu and play. If we'd let you decide mankind would still be living in caves.

Anyway ontopic. Anyway ports are a bit long for my taste. If you're unlucky your group can wait 16minutes between every run. Didn't matter much back in the days cause the rvr pop was 5x as big.

why is the question...

why do you need to wait before being able to go rvr? (other you get to much fun, and you have no time to go pie etc?)

why do you need to switch the neklace? just having it in equipment should be enough, or even better to pay for porting...
