I think starting fairly even battleground RvR at 30 (and that's about the minimum) is a bit high. It's harder to get a player to stick around if they find out that they have to wait until ~33 to have even grounds in RvR battles.

I'd say there should be another BG, for ~1-24, and Braemar will be ~25-35.

I'm not sure exactly how bonuses would work in this case, but I think it makes more sense than the massive level range found in braemar. At, say, 24 (Which I believe was the highest level for one of the live BGs), you can easily run into somebody who outlevels you so far that you can hardly even damage them.

Sure, you could say that it "doesn't take that long to get to 35" but it definitely will for a new player, and honestly I don't see any harm in adding another BG, since honestly I doubt anyone will be ranting and raving about how their level 20 char can't go to braemar anymore.

Almost everyone agrees on this one, even the staff afaik.

All we've heard from them so far though is that's it on their 'to-do list'.. so I guess we can only hope it's not at the bottom.

no more bgs !
sad enough that the agramon population is 10-12% of the max population.

its not asked too much to lvl to 30 to have a day fun i braemar

imo rr caps should get lowered again.

lvl50 rvr is what this game is about - not stupid bg´s.

improve the spawntimes and maybe the way up to 50 wont drag on so long, more lvl 50, more rvr, less bg needed, skipping by faster.

I never like it if you start telling people how they should enjoy their free time. Playing in a BG normally is fun, grinding isn't.

DAOC is build on the principle that you have to torture yourself before you can have fun. But I really doubt, that this is good game design.

I had fun leveling on live the first time. Everything was unknown. That makes a lot difference.
It's done when it's done. Thanks for your patience.

Jep with the first lvl 50 char its ok to level...
But if u allready have a level 50 char and u are up to level another u always will be called for RvR and then u stop leveling... thats why it takes longer + makes it more boring :D

I'm against more BG's - 3 are allready much... if u start Wilton with lvl 36 you have the same Problem against lvl 43 and so on and so on...

Shall we do 50 Bg's for every Single level?

No more BGs.

BGs are great fun, but I think there are enough.
With a good grp you can lvl your char very fast to the required lvl.

The problem with slow lvling is not as critical as some weeks before, because of the cap-raise.

And lvling can be great fun with the right grp.
Or with Quests.

I did the Epicquest with a paladin, and it was such a great fun seeing places you never would go to and enjoy the atmosphere.

DAoC can be much more than grinding and slaying.

/offtopic vote for more Epicquests especially on hib! :)

Jup Happuch this is a better idea - more quests in common for more fun - but implementing quests takes some time and I saw the staff is already working on new ones :)

Hmm I don't understand how some people think a lower lvl bg would Decrease the agramon population.

Imo it would only help the server and thus agramon population. Currently going to a bg from lvls 20+ where u'll only find urself wacked by lvl 30+ isn't really appealing for new people, even demoralising.

By creating a Bg for lvls 15 - 24 for instance, you can join the bg at lvl 20; pick up some fun fights, get some decent xp and actiually close the gap between lvl 20 and 35 while adding a ton of fun instead of a boring grind.

More ppl will enjoy it, more people will stay and stick around to hit 50 and see what Agramon brings.

More BGs and most of all a lower lvl BG will not negatively affect the Agramon population! (maybe apart from the first few days where ppl wanna check out the map etc etc)

Anyway I hope the staff still has this on it's to-do list..

Why would people want another bg? Every bg is a Shroomville.
The world will look up and shout "Save us!"...and I'll whisper "NO U."
