= more competetive to not have it, since you have to do harder things like having a good overview or counter your enemy to not suffer for it.

With that logic any form of cc should be left with no counters, you know, to make it more competitive.

Yes it is. Both are CC. There´s hardly a difference between red NS and a mezz for a caster.

Already implemented. It´s called determination. The classes most affected by root get it. Nice strawman, tho.

So why is there cure mezz, when you can purge that already?
Mythic never knew how overpowered NS was. When they realized it they introduced a cure.

You are asking that question as if cure ns wasn't implemented as soon as mythic realized what monster they have created...

actually, NS was very late to get his cure, but also his immunity. Immunity to NS was very late to appear. edit : or my memory is being flawed (?)

I didn't say anything about how long it took them to realize that.

No it wasn´t. It was implemented as a ml ability in 1.66 which was ToA release. It was implemented as a speccable ability shortly after the release of classic servers when Mythic realized it was overpowered for the second time.

After some search, I knew my memory was still working. No it wasn´t. It was implemented as a ml ability in 1.66 which was ToA release. It was implemented as a speccable ability shortly after the release of classic servers when Mythic realized it was overpowered for the second time.
Nearsight immunity : 1.62 Nearsight cure : 1.66 That may seam ages old for you, but it still means nearsight was left uncurable and spammable (back when there were fewer purges both because of low RRs and of longer timers) for a year and half, and was only fixed dozens of patches after every other immunity timers. So yeah, it was added in very late, even if this late is old for you.
