Thank you Bob for at least responding to my earlier questions directly. As I said, I was not there that night and was only going off what Gynsu, Grendle, and Austerim had told me. They said they thought Soxxs or Sardria might have been with them but couldnt recall and those would have been the only 2 "high RR" players in the group. They also said it was 2-3 fg's and not 1-2 fg's. I'm sure both sides are a lil fuzzy on the exact set up of the night, but at least you responded to the actual question. :)

Also, sorry about the other night, I wasnt meaning to pick on Sheldor but I was within a few kills of 9L4 :) I also didnt realise Dr. Beverly was your alt. I'm a HUGE Next Gen fan and almost made my hunters name Wesley Crusher.

Details are details. The bottom line was neither group was going to even come close to beating that hib group that night, so it was either log or zerg. Personally as I mentioned before, zerging seems like the better option, because at least then the set group has an option to find a second group to run with. Either way the action is over for the night if the mids just log instead of zerg, or the hibs choose not to find another group or can't. Don't worry about the other night all is fair when I decide to rumble through emain like that, was just a shame when I thought I was actually going to give you a couple good battles, the ambiance of the zone got in the way. C'est la vie.

OT: Blue Sundays are a good reason for me to break the runemaster out. Will try to be there if the RL allows for it.

Thx to Midgard for attending the event in such huge numbers. We always where around 110 in BG from 18-21:30, and as always not everyone is in the BG :)

respect to the albs, who gave us several nice fights and came back very often! I would have wished for more equally sized zergs, but this is not easy to have.

[3:10pm] <myrmidon^> You have to be a c*** to be awesome at daoc
[3:10pm] <myrmidon^> that's what I learnt
[3:11pm] <Frosty_> then why does austerim suck
lordgriffon wrote:Oh by the way... ever seen a group of 8 smite clerics? Or play against a group like that? I have. Absolute devastation. The group that runs up against them can't kill them fast enough because smite clerics have sooooooo many tools at their disposal combined with decent ranged damage with 8 of them dudes doing it!

well we tried to give you some fights and have some fun but the most we had in our bg was 74. so we where a little out numbered.

it would have been good for alb morale if we could have gotten our relic home, we haven't had one in months. But it wasn't meant to be this time.

But I was proud of the albs we came with everything we had and we kept trying even when we where getting creamed.

It was a good Bloody Sunday lets do it again.

ps: when you have the biggest zerg there is no reason to camp the mile gates.

also thanks to our 8mans who came and helped us and even dyed their cloaks red. That was awesome guys !!

Thats what we do. It was even some Braemar Chars in our BG and some who dont known how he go to emain :D

Yes it was ~100 in BG but 30% lowLvl and another 30% Noobs L50 2l2 :D

We just wondering that Hibs do nothing to protect relics. As we arrived albs have already broken 2 doors with just 3 fgs!
I can remember Time where we came with 8fgs and hibs wiped us with 12 after 20 min while we hitted 3rd door ^^
Where was your well organized defense Hibs? Or your leaders was drunken/stoned after party and was noone here to organize some defense?
And Albs played well, good idea to go trough RvR dungeon. Ok hasent worked, but just cause we sended some ppl to check RvR Dungeon entry.

Hibs decided to follow their beloved PvE leaders into a nonesensical ninja-raid rather than just joining into the fun in Emain, got their asses wooped at the Mid relic and logged out. Glorious ^^ But cudos to the Mids for putting together a zerg like that.

if it would have been just my choice i would have let you take your magic relic, would have been well deserved. But mids are a bloodthirsty bunch of Vikings, and no cute gentleman :?

And we only campt the wall as soon as the message came you got your relic. Smart move to go through marfach... i even guess our very luck was we got a little lost in marfach  , which made you leave the entrance in summoners hall and not camp the porter?
Mid had a lot of luck yesterday, everything went just perfect. It was a day of Odin.

Great to see so many people out to these events, strong indicator that Uthgard can have massive RvR, under the right circumstances/leader :)
Albion and having fun
