Viper 3 anyone?
This is rediculous I've played many chars on this server.. and sure.. ranger are strong.. they were at times on live too..
But there is far stronger classes here.. with much more rediculous abilities..

Hunter? Wizard? Animist?

Again. If you stand no chance against ranger with your sb/infi try other class or give up^^

rangers are on the wrong weapskill table here afaik (think blue said this some months back)

PD = NF RA which just dont work on this server *lol classic* setting, and PD was removed from archers on live also

It was a mistake.. rangers are on the correct dmg table.. dont spread rumors

The average Ranger is more successful in getting rp's than most other classes. Only the average bonedancer and average animist can top that, but average means 2 respectivly 3 players for them, so their values are not significant.

You left out an important fact that hibs have all relics now...
It changes a lot.. ofc the numbers will grow to unrealistic normal numbers with 6 relics..
I never said ranger isn't a good class.. but i cant believe all the assasin QQ..
Any assassin who just hits a ranger once in an entire fight can potentially deal almost 1000dmg via dot ticks.. i mean come on..
If an assasin hits a ranger without purge and runs he'll be on like 30% health when the dot runs out..
And in a fight purge doesnt even count as any assasin with respect for himself has atleast 6 more wpns in his inventory to reapply..
Even the most gimpy no skill assasins can nearly kill a ranger who has PD4 if he just reapply a few poisons..
People should just learn how to play their classes..

This is like Tobly QQing that a pure dps toon like a zerk with all buff, aotg3, vendo mode, ecc ecc, can kill 1500 hp to a mage in two shots... pfff...


* 1) 800+ dmg for a critshot it's not easy to see, and a critshot is not easy to land because of the high dehid chance.
2) the 2 other shots are really lucky -> 350+ dmg with a shot mean no rf mode, right arrow choice and a BIG luck for the variance that bow dmg has here, also the archer has not to be rupted for 6-7 secs... mh... really improbable.

but i dont cry about hunters because of that.

Hey, you just pointed out two critical factors that I must over come to be able to kill you.

1. I need to see you first

and

2. I need to be able to hit you with a Crit Shot

In any other situation I am at a disadvantage. I am at a disadvantage in melee. I am at a disadvantage against any class that can block arrows or interrupt (*cough* Nightshades) or cast Nearsight. This is called balance. You play a class with strengths and weaknesses.

and if you dont get that you just use your speed burst or your rr5 to get away.

You can break my speed with any sort of DD. You are a Nightshade. I need camouflage to have any chance at all so that means 10 minutes of down time after every fight if I'm solo. Great fun. The RPs just roll in with that sort of "advantage." Meanwhile you have Rangers standing in the middle of AMG with camou OFF like they own the place (they do).

My RR5 is nice, but there are several counters to it. Ranged damage is one of them. Stealthing at the right moment is another. I can't believe I'm giving you free tips on how to beat me, but these always seemed obvious to me.

I though there was some sarcasm in your story, but whats really wrong with that. It was simply pointing out what everyone knows. What you speak of with 3 SBs kiting with poisons is not at all far from the truth.
Rangers are a Joke , everyone knows it.
Fix It please.

Sadly I play dirty with all rangers and at all levels now. They rolled a OP and know it. if i get a chance to kill them regardless I'm doing it.

I'll add, bait, xp kill.

just the way it is now.

seyha is op because he got a rapid fire button on his quick bar. some rangers besides ronia should learn this button

For your information Runis isn´t viper user. Hanma used viper 3.

Viper3 sux.

Considering a Ranger has almost the exact same ability set as a Hunter (only better in almost every possible way)... If I can kill Viper 3 assassins and a Ranger can't then that Ranger is just lazy.
